Zunsport Compatible with Mazda MX5 MK4 ND - Full Lower Grill - Black Finish (2015 -)

Was looking for a grille to enhance the look of the car as well as provide some protection to the radiator fins. I don't track the car so this fits the bill. Spyder makes a grill as well and quite popular but requires removing the factory grill pieces and is made of plastic. With the full opening it does provide more airflow and probably a necessity for front intercooled setups.Installation was really easy as others have mentioned, bending the bottom tabs downward a bit helped them latch on, and then it was just 3 screws. Be careful to use a screwdriver with a thin head, I used an all purpose mechanics screwdriver and didn't notice the head was rubbing against the grill due to the small opening and some of the paint came off. You can see it up close but not visible standing up or at normal distance. Changed to a small electronics screwdriver on the other side, the ones with the small screwdriver bits, and that had no rubbing issue. Zunsport could throw in an allen key type screw driver like Ikea sometimes does and this would be a non issue. The logo tab is not to my desired taste and it's welded on so not something that can be pried off without noticeable damage, the sticker does peel off easy enough for a plain black look if so desired. I might make a custom sticker of sorts for fun to take its place at some point. Where I'm at doesn't require front license plate so I had to use the middle screw to hold the grill in place, it would be great to have an extra screw and I would have used the factory license plate dimples to hold the middle section instead of creating a random new hole. All in all, a very quick mod that enhances the look of the vehicle, provides some radiator protection, but no expected performance improvement. Item shipped really fast from the UK.

Fits perfectly and easy installment. Looks great compared to the plastic one. Wished it came with fog lights but can always install an aftermarket one.

The installation couldn't have been any simpler. Ensure the 3 lower tabs are straight, since they may have bent a little bit in shipment. Tuck the tabs into the lower part of the existing grill. Then screw the first of 3 screws in the middle. Then finish it off with the remaining 2 screws at the corners. I recommend you put some tape just above the edge of a long screw driver to prevent some potential scraping of the grill while screwing on the latter 2 screws. Entire process took less than 10 minutes! Much easier than the Spyder grill that's popular with ND Miata. And it's nice, strong and black metal vs plastic.

This was super easy to install it took about 5 minutes. I seated the bottom clips lined it up and screwed in the 3 screws provided. It is very solid. Highly recommend. looks great.

These are very well made and will protect the radiator on my very low and vulnerable Mazda MX-5 RF GT from road debris. Love the look.
