Memory Notebook of Nursing

I used this book while in nursing school , lost my copy and reordered it because it was very helpful

A little disappointed. I was hoping to use this book as a resource for visual aids. I am a nursing instructor and like to incorporate multiple teaching styles into lecture as my students have a wide variety of learning preferences. I thought maybe I could use some of these pictures/visual aids as an aid to my students who were struggling with some of the concepts. I found that many of the pictures were WAY too busy and included too much information. The book is a creative way to demonstrate certain concepts, but sometimes too much information can overwhelm students. The drawings themselves are creative and add a humorous approach to learning. I enjoyed this aspect of it. However, I never used it for its intended purpose because of the above reasons. It would be an excellent tool for nursing students with visual learning preferences but I will not directly recommend this book to my students. Also, it was pretty pricey considering the information provided.

It's a good tool to help you remember quickly, or to draw quick charts in class..... There is several other books with different body system, some I believe are too pricy for the content and drawings.... My 4 yr niece can draw better

I like this book because there are drawings and mnemonics to help me learn difficult nursing concepts. I am thinking about buying more, but they are very expensive for how small they are!

Really helps.

This book was very helpful after I learned the patho of the disease process. It looks like a coloring book so do not let the looks discourage you. I passed NCLEX-RN on the first attempt with the help of this simple learning aid.
