Better than what SWANN gave me
I think this is a better charger and the cable power harness was perfect fit. This was a solid buy. Quality unit. Swann should just give this one in their packages. I bought a 4 camera expandable to 8 and I use six. HOOKED on VIDEO now. This purchase helped me greatly. Good Job.

Pretty good.
The first one lasted a little over a year. Easy to just put in one plug in the wall and great to reduce clutter. The bad news, if it fails, is that all your cameras go dark. And unless you check your cameras all the time you won’t know they are out until you check. All in all, I think it’s worth it if you need the space but that is a big downside if you are dark when you need it.

Works fine with LH150 8 Channel ECO4 Lorex Costco System
[Quick Update: 2021/12/08]: This is now starting to fail. It's introducing a lot of distortion to the video signal. Unplugging any one of the camera's power from the pigtail starts to clear up the remaining feeds. Unplug 2 and remaining 6 become clear (various combos tried and confirms not camera specific). Also, using another power supply fixes, so you don't have to power all 8 with this one supply, meaning in a pinch, you can power one or more from alternate supplies if available (that's my short-term band-aid fix; use older pwr supply meant to power just one.)I know they are not supposed to last forever, but 3 years to me now means at best 3 stars @$14. Your ROI expectations may differ.[Original review: 2018/12/30]About 5 years ago I purchased the 8ch wired LH150 Lorex ECO4 system from Costco. (Note: some ECO4's were mislabeled as "ECO3". Mine is model No: LH158000). It has 6 of the original cameras still working, I've replaced 2 with similar cameras (not-Lorex brand, but similar specs). Started having a couple original cameras 'flutter' (image spaz out, not IR triggering on/off). Tested cameras with a separate power supply and cameras were fine, so I ordered this item. This power supply works great as a direct replacement for the original. It came with everything listed in the image; Brick, Powerline, 8-splitter pigtail. I plugged in to power, plugged in all the cameras, and it's been working well for past couple weeks.Power consumption:Daytime (no cameras in IR mode): 0.14aNighttime (all in IR mode): 0.31a...this was measured with Killawatt so very likely not exact, but maybe close enough to at least show comparison between day/night.Continuous running, slightly warm to the touch but no where near 'hot'.Plastic bag it came in said "ABLEGRID Swann Lorex Q-See Security. New 116145943, and X001TOP5R5"So far, so good. Will update this review if it fails.

Reliable Parts
I have the Swann eight camera system. I try to stick with the replacement products from them. I have had the camera system for 6 years and they have been great. The 2 power adaptes are the only thing that have gone out on this system. A couple of times a squirrel chewed through 2 cables (see picture). But that wasn't a system malfunction. LOL ...I keep thinking about the newer wireless systems because they advertise them to be easier. But when something isn't broke why try to Fix it? (I don't consider replacing a power adapter as a broke system). Good luck

Worked great - until they failed!
We have purchased 2 of these in the past for different DVRs in different locations. Both adapters failed in less than 2 years.

Lasted 7 months
I have a Q-see camera security system and the factory power supply died so I ordered this and this lasted seven months and then it died so just keep that in mind.
