Excellent replacement for the OEM remote that came with the unit. Very pleased with the product and the price. Recommended - but make sure you are ordering the exact remote. Saw lots of posts where people say that they don't work, and I suspect the issue is not with the remote, but with the IR receiver in their amp. A good way to check whether or not a remote is working - take a digital camera (not your iphone or other phone), focus it on the IR window in the end of the remote. While looking through the viewfinder, press a button or two on your existing remote - if you see the IR transmitter lighting up in the remote, you know your remote is transmitting a signal. Worth a shot before buying a new remote that won't solve your problem! Warning - do not stare into the camera at the IR transmitter for more than a second or two - don't know that it will hurt anything, but not worth the chance. Just check to see if it is lighting up. You will not be able to see this with the naked eye, but can view it through most digital camera viewfinders.

I received the remote unit to replace a working unit that was aging.This unit appears to be a brand new unit but does not work. I have swapped the batteries and it still does not work.
