Bicycle Disc Brake Pads for Shimano XTR/Deore/XT/SLX/Hone/Alfine,1 Pair with a Spring

Time will tell if these are a good product.

These were tried as a replacement for my worn brake pads. They are very quiet. The stock pads made a very loud hissing and scraping sound when stopping. These pads are quiet and have maybe a third more stopping power than the old ones. I bought these for my Ebike and now I’ll order more for my standard mountain bike

I commute on bike in the Texas Hill Country of San Antonio, on a 700c Schwinn DSB with some mods. I was headed down a hill at roughly 28MPH, when a car turned in front of me, crossing my lane, headed for a business driveway, and I had to smoke the stock brakes. Afterward the rears did noting but squeal, luckily the rotors survived so I decided to apply what I learned tuning race cars, and went for ceramic pads. BIG difference. While they have a short ramp-up time depending on how warm they are, they bite harder the hotter they get which is great for long downhills or emergency stops.After installing on the rear I noticed an improvement in initial bite, modulation, and wet performance over the stock front. Speaking of wet performance, I was recently caught in a rain storm on my commute and the front stock pads were useless while these were barely affected and worked like usual once warmed up.I weight 250 Pounds rider and bike so I'm not light or easy on these brakes by any means.I'm currently ordering my second set for the front and wish I bought both sets at the same time.EDIT: Fronts arrived and installed, love the ability to make emergency stops without worrying about toasting these.

Thee are so much more quiet than the stock organic brake pads and stop much better too.

Installed these on my e-bike and now do not have any or very little squeaking when braking. Very good braking power too.

To be honest, i wanted to buy the Shimano XT pad, but i would have had to wait 2 weeks for it, so i went for the best alternative i could find. This thing arrived next day :)I replaced a worn pad in my XT hydraulic break after bleeding the system. Wow! This thing grips! I love it! It's like it didn't even need a break-in period. It was breaking excellent after a heavy break or two. I'd buy this again.

I purchased an ebike that came with this style pad. The peformance of the OEM was so/so and it made a very loud hissing noise when the brakes were applied. These pads appear to work better and are much quieter than the oem no-name brand pads my bike came with. Having said that though, the brakes still make enough of a noise that its still noticeable. Will probably try a few different pads until i find one that works better.
