I like the stairs, just some problems...
The media could not be loaded. We were just getting ready to move out of our house when one of the pins acting as a hinge in my OEM stairs on my trailer disappeared, rendering the steps basically useless. I’d heard of these MORryde steps from BTBRV on YouTube but had never been interested in replacing something that worked. Now is my chance!I made sure to measure my door accurately and run the checker on their website before ordering. I needed them to come by Thursday because I was leaving town on Friday and Amazon said they’d arrive by Friday. I took a gamble and ordered them. You can see them being delivered in the video. Not sure how much it’ll get down-res’d but I could clearly see the box was open when UPS dropped it off. I don’t know what their policy is on handling broken packages, but this wasn’t boxed, it was a set of stairs in the vicinity of some cardboard.Upon examination the stairs were clearly used, with nicks in places that wouldn’t have contacted external surfaces during shipping, even with the packaging done as poorly as it was. So I paid full price for a used set of stairs that were poorly packaged.I’m amazed all the parts actually made it to me, there are some pretty small screws in there!I did have one problem that BTBRV had, my screen door wouldn’t fit. I expected this and immediately removed the door. (Put it in the PODS you can see in the video). I probably should’ve discarded the screen door because I like the entry just fine as is and seldom used the screen door anyway. One additional issue I discovered after we tried installing the steps. The door to my RV isn’t anywhere near square. You may wish to check this before buying the steps for your RV. I could not raise or lower the steps without striking the door at one corner or another. Move it a little left and it hits at the bottom, move it a little right at it hits at the top. Not a super huge deal but maybe j could’ve gotten a slightly narrower model to prevent this issue. My wife and kids love the stairs. They’re much more sturdy than the OEM stairs. One caveat: you can never ever move the RV with the stairs deployed, not even an inch. She had forgotten once to bring up the old stairs during a potty break on the freeway. With those it was easy, just pull back over and put them up before driving away. With these a mistake like that will destroy your stairs and probably your door, too.Caveat emptor

Would be 5*’s but....
Would be 5*’s but... one of the catches on the left side was partially bent, I had to straighten to get everything to catch properly. Once corrected install went great. Instructions call for recessing hinge 15/16” on my Mallard M33 the hinge had to be slide to flush with threshold for stairs to clear threshold when down. Glad we lowered to confirm everything before setting, as well as checking door closure. Will have to putty the two holes in floor that are now outside hinge. Just double check these things before setting all the screws for sure.Packaging— the main frame was protected nicely but they need to protect the two catches as they are really the only things that could get damaged during shipping and are not protected. Maybe should have just returned but made work and wasn’t substantial.

make sure to measure
We purchased this as used and very good condition. It was perfect...no damage you would think it was just out of the box. Arrived earlier than expected.

Major installation issues.
First off the installation would be a lot easier if the threshold plate and hinge assembly were shipped separate from the stairs. 50 years of being a mechanical engineer tells me the installation instructions are completely backwards. The important fit is that the outside downward flange be as close to the outside face of the threshold not the inside of the threshold. Spacing the hinge plate 15/16" from the inside of the threshold makes the outer wrap flange stick out an additional 1/4" in front of the outer face of the threshold which interferes with the bottom flange on the door when you try to close it. If a two small tabs were added to the hinge that stuck out about 3/4" on each end of the hinge you would be able to push the outer downward flange up against the outside of the threshold and center it in the door opening. Once it is tight against the outer surface and centered you will be able to drive two screw through both of the small outer hinge tabs. This would anchor the hinge plate in both of the critical directions. Then simple attach the stair assembly and you would be done. Minor adjustments to the flange clamps could then be made.

Awesome addition
These steps are awesome, very sturdy, got rid of those Shakey flip out steps. Had to order the 4 step, the qualifier in their website said 3 step and they were too short. Handrail makes it easy to hold on when a little tipsy, lol

GREAT STURDY STEPS
I bought these step and my husband wasn't too happy. (Brand new camper and I wanted new steps) He had a lot of trouble figuring it out but with my help we finally figured it out. I have bad knees and if I was going to continue camping, these steps were a must with the handrail attachment. We are both senior citizens and these steps making camping doable for us. The are sturdy and I'm able to pick them up myself and put them away when we pack up to leave. LOVE THEM.

Well worth the investment.
Very nice product. A must have to replace cheap, steep stamped steel stock steps. Very sturdy and easy to install. Better looking than most cheap units installed by RV dealers for price point. Extruded aluminum steps risers have good traction. Adjustable for different terrains.

Great product. Did the trick making easier access to or trailer.
The stairs are really sturdy and were easy to install. We got them for our elderly dog to get in and out of our trailer. He can do it by himself now. Worth the money! Made our lives and his much more enjoyable!

Good sturdy stairs
Stairs work great, but required some tweaking to make it work with my Open Range rig as the door is different from other brands. But stairs are good.
