Really quiet and excellent value for money

Just needed a replacement fan and not the full kit
Fan of decent quality and very quiet. No information for setting timer up so downloaded information readily available on line. Timer pot fully anti clockwise is minimum 1 minute setting up to 20 mins fully clockwise. Great price and delivered early

Minor things to watch for
This was a replacement for a Manrose SF100T. This Swift fan seems to be in all major aspects identical. However some minor points to be aware of when fitting. If you are replaing an old unit and don't need the trunking and grills then make sure to order just the fan unit and save a few quid! The wiring connections are ordered slightly differently. The Manrose terminal block is ordered L N SW, whereas the Swift unit is L SW N. So make sure you fit correctly when replacing an exisiting unit. Also on the Manrose unit the 2 base fixing slots are open-ended, so a simple matter to slide off the old unit without completely extracting the fixing screws. However on the Swift unit the slots are closed, so its necessary to completely remove the old screws and refix through the slots. Just a small point, but more awkward if working in a tight space! And as another reviewer has said, easier to adjust the timer setting before installing. The factory default setting seems to be for 20+ minutes. Other than that, the fan was an easy DIY fit, and runs quietly with good airflow.
