It fits to Mazda3 2010 i touring
I give 4 stars not 5 just because there's no way I can rate the functionality of it. Other than that, these look the same as the original filters that were installed when I purchased my Mazda 3. I followed instructions I found on YouTube. If you insert exactly in the way the old ones were put in, then you should find it very easy to replace. Remember, exactly the same direction. The same replacement costs my Mazda dealer at San Diego above $100 I think, which is why I started doing it myself, and I'm really happy for that. My filters are replaced after 4 years of use approximately (28k miles), which is what the manufacturer recommend roughly. I found my old filters look much cleaner than what Mazda dealers displayed at their shop as an example of old filters (looked very dirty). If you have the same car as mine, you might want to go for it. All of those shouldn't take longer than 20~30 min.

not for the faint of heart
Mazda, this is a really dumb design but the filter works. I didn't get around to changing mine for a few years. There was a lot of filth and debris on the firewall side the other side was covered with mold from condensation build up. I recommend changing it often do to the condensation issue. It took me longer than you tube videos suggest but it's doable. It is not a good task for someone with back pain or limited mobility. I found it easiest to lie on my back with my legs out of the passenger side door. Remember your glasses and a light too. Why couldn't you just make access as simple as pulling out the glove box mazda? If you are he'll bent on saving some cash do it. Mazda charges around $100. This filter fits only one way an it is a good replacement quality filter. I'll have the oil changers do it next time. They don't charge labor and th premium filter price beats doing this myself again. Lower back ouch.

Fits Great
This is my 3rd purchase of this filter which works as expected. Just wish Mazda had an easier location to install the filter. The older I get, the more difficult it is for me to contort my body to remove the old and install the new. But it is a great savings rather than having the dealer replace the filter

Quality matters
Mazda 3 (2010-xxxx) has very ill-designed location for cabin filter. Hopefully the engineer or department who designed it was fired and removed from company. Location of filter has nothing to do with filter manufacturing company. However, the quality of filter material is very critical to overall flow and longevity. This particular filter is not good because the new filter is reducing air flow considerably.

Seems to be just as good as OEM
Ease of install is variable as the installation of these filters in a mazda 3 compared to something like a civic doesn't compare. It's not the filters fault where it's put in the dash. These looks just like OEM and I can't see any reason to pay more for OEM when these seem to be doing just as good of a job. This is my second set and the first set held up well. Changed due to time of mileage. Will buy again when it's time.

Fantastic Alternative to Dealer Service
Could not believe it when my Mazda dealer told me it would cost me $75 to have my cabin filters replaced. Typical dealership rip off. So I went onto the internet and found a demo with video showing me how to do it myself. Tight quarters for a big guy like me, but definitely do - able with a little cursing once in a while. So then I went to Amazon to find the filters and they delighted me with a terrific bargain - under $19 with free shipping. They arrived in 3 days and I am breathing clean air in my car again. Just in time for allergy season and definitely needed as you would agree if you saw the old ones I took out. Thanks Amazon for saving me over $50 and giving me clean air to breathe.

... looking to save some money and this filter worked great. Not as easy to replace in my 2011 ...
I was looking to save some money and this filter worked great. Not as easy to replace in my 2011 Mazda 3S as my wife's Honda Civic but at 64 is do able with the help of the youtube video or look on Mazda3 247 Forum for information. Honda has a better setup to replace cabin filter. Just take your time and watch the video and vac the junk that been collected in the duct. I park under trees so my filter gets vac the first year and replaced the 2nd year. You can't go wrong with the Beck Arnley cabin filter AS others have pointed out the foam strip on top is the first filter installed followed by the 2nd filter.

Perfect Fit For 2010 Mazda 3 - Beck Arnley 042-2180 Cabin Air Filter
With over 44,000 miles on my 2010 Mazda 3s, I know I needed to get the cabin air filter replaced. The Beck Arnley filter set is an exact fit replacement at a very reasonable cost. I used YouTube and Google to find installation videos that showed the fitment. What's tricky here is that the filters are stacked vertically so you have to install them in the right order. The biggest takeaways I got from the install instructions was that the filter with the foam on it is the top one and goes in first and that the thicker, longer tabs face outward so you can easily change them next time. This also forces the orientation to be correct so they fit together.Amazon shipping was fast and I appreciate that I can get these somewhat oddball replacement parts here.
