Disney Cars Lightning McQueen Light-Up Sneaker

Ordered these for my 2 year old son after he fell in love with them at a retail shop. We had ended up ordering a different pair that day at the store (BOGO1/2 Sketchers) but to my dismay come delivery day, he was so excited yelling "beep beep shoes!" over and over. Apparently he hadn't realized that we had gone with the Sketcher shoes instead (we had them mailed in the right sizes to our house). Try as I might to prepare him and get him excited for the other pair, his little face fell when he opened the box. He asked where the beep beeps were and I had to explain again that we couldn't get the car shoes, and playing up how cool his new Sketchers sneakers were. He gave me a little smile and said "Tay-tou (thank you) for my new shoes". I watched him look wistfully over at his big sisters sparkly light up shoes she had picked and I felt so bad. He was trying so hard to not be disappointed.To his credit, he put the Sketchers on and was very grateful even in his disappointment. His sweet face just broke my heart though, and even though I had spent what money I had for shoes, (and our budget is nil), I started my search hoping I could find a miracle of a deal so I could get him these too. Amazon came through! Great deal and they are fantastic! Both light up as expected and honestly, the quality seems better than I remember at the store. My only qualm is that the sole isn't as flexible as I would like. But the stiffness doesn't seem to bother him. The look on his face when he opened them was priceless. After being told he wouldn't get to have them, he had no expectations. He lit up like a Christmas Tree (cue happy tears from mom)! He put them on immediately and he wore them all day long. It was a fight to get them off at bedtime. He talked about his "cool beep beeps" all. day. long. showing everyone who would look and stomping his feet just so he could watch them light up. Obviously they are a hit! I'm usually pretty picky about getting flexible soles for the kids' shoes. But sometimes a stiff sole, is what's good for the soul, and if it doesn't bother him then this mama is a happy customer. Very satisfied with the purchase.

I bought these light up Cars shoes for my 4 year old nephew and of course they were a hit!He currently wears a size 11 and I ordered a size 12 in case they'd run small but they're too big (as they should be). I'd say they run true to size.I'm uploading some photos so you can get a closer look. I will update this review after he breaks them in and I can say more about how they hold up. Nice looking shoes! These shoes have held up really well to my two year old wearing them every day for months. The lights are still working most of the time after constant wear. Good shoes, especially for the price. I am especially impressed with how little wear they show in the front on top of the toes where most of his shoes start to show wear really quickly. They have just really held up well.

Theses Disney Cars light up sneakers are one of my son's favorite shoes. I like how they have double Velcro which makes it 1) easy to put on and 2) keeps the shoe nice and tight. He, of course, loves the fact that it's Lightning McQueen and that it lights up! We like them so much that we always keep a look out for these character shoes when they go on sale. I wish my son's feet wouldn't grow so fast but that just means we have to keep being the bigger sizes - and at this price I know he will still use the next size up.

Got these shoes for my 3 year old and he loves them!! He didn't want to take them off initially, including when he went to bed. They were that loved! The shoes fit true to size. After wearing them for a few months now, the Velcro is still holding up strong. The lights are VERY bright on the shoes. They seem brighter than other light up shoes we have had previously. This brightness is great when looking for your kid's shoes in a dark closet full of shoes - can't miss those bright flashing lights.

I bought these for a four year old cousin who loves Cars and loves light up shoes. The shoes are not too heavy despite having the light mechanism built in. He likes the velcro straps on them because it makes it easier for him to put the shoes on and off himself. His mother said he has worn the shoes to stop in puddles without any damage to the light mechanism. She also said the fabric of the shoes wipes clean fairly easily after he has been playing in dirt or grass clippings.

I bought these because my son absolutely loves the Cars movie. They are pretty cool looking shoes and he loves the lights. They are an inexpensive shoe however the quality is lacking. After only a couple weeks they are starting to show signs of wear and probably won't last too much longer. So they are cool and fun shoes but for your average 4 year old boy they will probably wear out pretty quick.

My son loves these shoes. Great quality. Fit as expected - true to size. They have been worn every day for months, and are just starting to show a little wear on the toe box. They light up when he walks and jumps. We get lots of compliments on these shoes when we are out. Great price!
