I would not but this from them again if my life dependent on it. could not get the arms to attach nothing fit right all I end up with was a bunch of bent arms and wasted time. don't wast yours.

I received the item thankfully in one piece. The styrofoam in the packaging kept the hands from being bent to much, I'd prefer it being boxed than a usps plastic envelope with no protection to it. It would be nice if measurements were put in inches instead of cm or mm and having to convert them in projects. The directions would be helpful as well to come with the parts for the novices in putting a clock mechanisme together, of which side the washer and nut go on etc - order of washer, nut and hands onto the shaft. Overall, I haven't used it since the second hand is too long for my project, may have to trim it on the next one. Second hand bends outof shape way to easily as well. I liked the contrast of the red second hand, the main reason I bought it.

I put this in my beloved BRONCO clock, it worked for about three hours and the second hand just sat still and went back and forth, however the seller refunded the price I paid for it and didn't even require me to send it back so he is quite honorable for that anyway.

the 'rod' holding the time pieces from the base is too short so it did not fit the width of the clock I was trying to repair..threw them both in the garage in route to the garbage

We purchased this to replace a non-working one in a clock we had. It works, but the threads are so short it wont fit on a clock face with a 1/8th inch depth. I was able to get it to work on a clock we made out of an old vinyl record album, but it was a tight fit.If you're trying to use this with a face thicker than a 33 rpm LP you'll need one with a longer shaft in order to get the nut on it.

It's pretty basic, and easily assembled, but it would be a great improvement if the company would include basic instructions. Fortunately, I've used these to replace clock mechanisms in the past and knew how to put it together. Mine arrived in a plastic bag with the pieces loose and no paperwork whatsoever.
