This fan is unbelievable, wonderful. Last summer during a horrid heatwave on the top floor of a high rise apartment bldg, my ac quit for about a week. I bought this in the meantime, not sure if it would work, at all.It worked. It worked so good, I was astounded.I used it throughout the time it took to get new ac and it cooled my one bedroom apt down to where it was painless. I love this thing. Smooth and quiet, I rarely had it above medium.The price is great for such a dependable, well made floor fan. Love this.

It is hot here in the South already, and I love to sit on my back deck with the breeze from the fan. It makes all the difference in the world. You can direct the flow and speed easily. Rain has blown in on it (covered decks) but no harm at all to the fan. I am thinking of buying another one for the front deck. Moving air also deters mosquitos. That is worth every penny.

I like that this fan blows a lot of air! It has been so hot this summer in Florida that I needed a fan that could really cool off a room. So I decided to try this fan. It really blows air. Even on the low setting it blows quite a bit of air. I am well pleased with my purchase.

My last one survived all but a pair of movers who believed stacking the heaviest stuff on top made unpacking easier (I guess, because those guys wrecked everything). The FAN however is super quiet, moves a ton of air, because it's a big fan. Still small enough to fit in a window. Tough enough to be knocked around, dropped HOUSEHOLD use. If you want to use at a worksite, they sell metal ones which I can only guess would also be great.

Great fan! Super quiet, super powerful, love that it tilts basically to the floor and to the ceiling. The last one of these I had lasted 14 years before the motor burned out. I’m not even kidding. The last year or so it lost a lot of its power but still did what I needed it to do. Anyway, the price can be high on these but OMG I feel like it’s worth it.

I had the same fan (simply without the Lasko name on it) for five years before this one. I got it used (a couple years old at this time), when my dad left it behind after painting the house we were going to rent from him. That was five years ago. That fan ran for five years, literally non-stop, in my bedroom until the motor finally gave up the ghost.If you’re not used to a big beefy box fan, it can be loud. But it’s no louder than to be reasonably expected, and the low hum it makes us really nice for sleeping.Here’s to another five years!

The latest storm killed our last box fan. We replaced it with this one, and we run it every night in our room for the noise. This fan has 3 speeds, it is cooling, and it has a lovely even, not-too-loud hum.
