Monitor mount - fantastic
Using this to mount an auxiliary touchscreen monitor that had a 1/4 mount. Works perfectly. Very sturdy. Was afraid that using a single (large) screw it might spin on the wall but whether it's just not much weight or it's the soft pads on the bottom, it doesn't budge.

Works great
This thing costs way less money than the more expensive versions but seems very sturdy and well put together. I have bought similarly priced versions but they have knobs that get caught on stuff. No knobs on this. Just tighten the screws a little and it has friction to hold my DSLR in weird positions. Great design. Not sure how it works but it probably uses rubber grommets to hold friction while just a small amount of force allows you to move it to reposition your camera. I'm sure this goes bad after a while but I am pretty sure I can just tighten the screws a little more to get the friction hold back. Totally worth the money. If I remember to do it, I will update this review in a year or so to talk about longevity.

Solidly Built, But understand your use case
I bought this recently after being bombarded with Instagram ads for similar (more expensive) Z heads. I have bought several other items from Neewe in the pastr, so I know they are a solid brand, and the reviews confirmed the quality of construction.PROS:♦ Solidly built of good materials♦ Strong enough to support a Sony A7iii with 400mm fully extended / 2X teleconverter♦ Joints can be tightened very stiff with Hex key♦ Heavy enough to be a desk tripod for a small format (i.e. RX100, GoPro, or Full Frame with small lens) cameraCONS:♦ No rotation, if you accidentally turn the camera counter clockwise at all, you loosen the mount and it wobbles♦ Relatively Heavy for a tripod accessory♦ Screw for the bottom articulating joint is on the inside, usable, but not super convenient to tighten with wrench♦ Camera mount wheel is only accessible if the Z head is extended♦ Just due to physics and geometry, a Z head is going to vibrate for longer with a heavy lens / camera setup. All that said, this is a quality item at a good price. Just understand your use case for it. I can imagine using it as a standalone mount for my RX100 or for macro photos aiming down for my larger full frame camera. For most other applications, I would imagine a ball head will continue to be more useful.

A Sturdy Beast
Bought as a gift, after having owned one myself for a year. Got it to take on a vacation, in lieu of a tripod, and wasn't overly optimistic about how useful or tough it was going to be. Saved my bacon on a number of occasions, when light was fading and it was way too windy to stand still. Held a 6D, with battery pack, and a hefty lens with no complaints. It's wide enough to be able to get it reasonably level on uneven surfaces, and along with that it's heavy enough that it won't allow any rocking. I ended up leaving it attached to the camera all the time, and when folded up you don't really notice it. It didn't come loose over the course of 10 days and always stayed locked in whatever position I put it in, with no sagging / collapsing....which was handy as I kept on leaving the supplied Allen key for adjusting it back in the hotel.Used it plenty more times since. Can't really say much more. It's a handy bit of kit. Cheap but well made.

Fantastic desk mount for my RODE VideoMic Go2
Wow, this thing is a beast. Way heavier than I expected it to be. Admittedly Im using it for a very lightweight use case, that of a mic stand. I have this paired with a RODE VideoMic Go2 shotgun mic sitting on my desk. It has a heavy base, great flexibility for me to tile/orient the mic towards my face etc.Yeah it was $20 and I could probably build something to work, but this was way easier.

Not as good as advertised
This product is all metal, while it is very sturdy it is also very heavy. I have had it for a little more than 2 years. I didn't use it very often. The idea is very good, however, it is not very smooth and stable when turning for up or down angles. Even though I didn't use it very often, one of the screws connecting the turning piece with the base fell off. This is product is designed for holding a camera, can be a very expansive one, so it needs to be very reliable, unfortunately it is not the case IMO. It is also inconvenient to screw it onto the camera. I like the idea, and I may try it again if it improves from those issues I listed.

Best value ever for photographers
After reading the reviews here, I purchased this very low-priced Z flex tilt head for my tripod. It is rock solid. I am beyond impressed. The original head on my tripod was a constant bother, and as I am elderly and need something to steady my camera, I thought I would have to replace my entire tripod. I had looked with envy at the z-mounts I'd seen, but they were so expensive. This one was easy to install and does a fabulous job. No reason to spend more for a product of this kind. There is a difference between a bargain (which speaks of cheapness) and a VALUE -- which means money well spent. This is a value.

Super Quality
You may use this with a tripod or bolt it to something (wood, table) or just place it on a desk, or table and it is very sturdy and supportive. I think it's pretty heavy duty and worth the money spent. Put my radio on it and it holds up just fine, doesn't creep down with the weight of the ICOM IC-705 radio. I have put it on the desk and table and it doesn't slide around. It does fit a regular tripod. I tested three tripods, one small camera, medium spotting scope and a 5' tripod all fit the regular screw.

Very Nice
Well made and sturdy. They are made of aluminum and not plastic. I’m not using mine for a camera but actually something a bit heavier and it wors perfectly. I would buy again.

Sehr gut!

Excellent piece of kit
Used with DSLR and smaller cameras such as GoPro10. Works well safe and sturdy with both.
