I will say this, I accidentally one-click ordered these, my old phones screen was touchy, and i just ended up with these thinning shears. I will say though, I ordered these Thinning shears in August of 2014, That's a year and a half ago. I am also a professional dog groomer and use these thinning shears every day, and have only ever needed to have them sharpened once, and that was a year after purchase. They are durable, beautiful, the are the perfect length for finessing haircuts on all breeds and hair textures. The angle of the finger rest is perfect and not much pressure is needed to bulk thin. Initially when I saw the price I assumed the quality would be substandard, but here we are a year and a half later and these shears work just as good as day one. I would HIGHLY recommend these, even if they aren't your every day thinners, then own them as part of your backups.

Cuts hair in more of a straight line than textured. I was hoping for more of a blending cut. Finger holes were fine for me, but might be small for someone with large hands. Worked well for my Doodle’s face.

These shears are way better than I expected for the price. Sharp and smooth. I always bought more expensive shears but have had a horrible time finding a quality sharpening service these days. I decided it would be better to buy an inexpensive pair and retire them when they get dull rather than keep paying for bad sharpening. These shears cost about the same as one professional sharpening service with tip. These shears may be lower priced but they are not low quality.

I ordered these thinning shears a year and half ago and I use them every day as a professional dog groomer. These work better than any other thinning shears I have tried and the price is great. The cutting ratio is high compared to others, which I prefer. I would say they cut close to half of the hair you clip. I am back to order another pair for my co-worker for her birthday :) She loves these too and borrows mine quite often.

The shears do cut, however I feel the ratio of thinning is kind of high. May be I'm not using them correctly, but I feel like theres more hair being cut than not, and so you end up with a noticeable straight line cut with very little left uncut. Its a pretty pair and fairly comfortable to use.

They are sharp, they are functional, and they are pretty. I'm not a stylist, but these allowed me to cut my daughter's hair, offering some indication that I knew what I was doing.

NOt bad for the money

I often trim my own bangs and these make it look less like I did it at home. Easy to add some texture. Hard to screw up since it only cuts half or so of your hair at a time. Seem sharp enough. I'd buy again.
