Very competent 'assured' microphone
Its a Neumann...so it just gives you that much more confidence (don't ask me why!)I bought mine at a very good price as it was a stock clearance item, and actually received the 104 Super.Very good sounding mic...I read about possible feedback issues, but I havent encountered any...and the band I sing in is a very loud blues band, playing anywhere from small bars upwards. You can get it to feedback, but that means either your speaker placement is wrong, or you are turned up to pain level. All in all a very competent, assured microphone that looks good (I got the silver one) and sounds, well, accurate with a delicious 'singer -friendly' tone to it (its neutral, dont use any eq with it but sounds just great!I seriously can't see anyone bettering it..certainly not for music played by bands at rock gigs...any so-called improvement would be inaudible.Just hope I don't lose it!PS I never know why singers 'skimp' on microphones...I've seen them using really cheap things and sounding awful. Get a good mic, you owe it to yourself, and you will treasure it!
