Sturdy and practical

Good medium height strong step, it is an inch or so taller than the basic ones but not too tall that you would feel unstable. It feels very solid compared to other folding steps I have tried that bend when you step onto them. Neat to fold up and store and very handy to have around the house. I suggest this is an adult step rather than a child's step because the shape means that the top surface is smaller than lower steps might be - this suits me but you may want a child to have a larger surface area to stand on. I notice some other steps on Amazon give a size (eg: 10 or 11 inches) which I presumed to be the height but was in fact the width.
