Buyer Beware: Defective Right Out Of The Box!!!
Upon very first use of the product, the claw mechanism detached from the inner cable, causing the plunge handle to recoil as the entire unit fell apart. This led to facial injury due to the poor manufacturing/assembly process of the product. "Made In China" typical trash. Don't waste your time or money on something like this that could potentially cost you more in the long run (i.e. having to retrieve the broken parts from wherever you use it). Buyer beware!

Waste of money
I wish I could give this no stars but that's not an option so I have to give it at least 1. Tried to use this for a spoon my wife dropped behind the stove. I pressed the plunger down and the jaws don't even come out the end. Total waste of money. As a mechanic I have had a few of these tools and have lost them along the years. I like the length of this one but it's useless since it is plastic junk and doesn't work.

Very Usable Product
I've used this in the plumbing problems I've encountered. I really like it, I use it to pick up a penny in our garbage disposal and I also use it to pick up the drain bladder that accidentally left in our washer's drain pipe. I'll keep this one in my tool box for furture needs.

Great service but so-so product
I received the product early, and they informed me that they included expedited shipping for free. There was also a hand-written note on the shipping order about how much they valued doing business with customers which I thought was great! The product didn’t perform great, however. Full disclosure: I was probably trying to use it at angles that are at the edge of its ability but the prongs quickly began protruding less and less until they would not come out at all at any angle. This was all in a matter of minutes. ALSO, I did not try to return or get a refund but if their initial service was any indication then it would be a pain-free experience. Conclusion: great service, good for simply extending reach (ie behind appliances from above), bad for fishing stuff out of narrow and angled places (for me it was a nook under and behind my cabinets)

too big to function properly
the grabber fell apart after first three squeezes right out of the packet … it is too long at 60 inches (five feet) .. thus, the flex tubing creates too much resistance to the interior cable, so it will not slide freely …. the handle / spring mechanism fell apart in my hand

Long but difficult to close.
This was the only grab tool that I could find that was longer than 3 feet without being crazy expensive. The construction of the tool is very nice and the reach is as advertised. The only thing that I feel I should talk about in a negative light is the claw detraction. The claws at the end will open when you hit the button on the other end, however unless the tool is almost perfectly straight they will NOT close back. This proved to make it a bit useless for my use as the first part of the pipe went straight forward before a sharp turn down.If you have a straight pipe to deal with this would likely work very well, for my use case though I wouldn't recommend it.

I'd say this is a worthwhile purchase... get one BEFORE you need it. Don't be me.
My parents always kept one of these around when I was a kid and I wasn't entirely sure why. When one of the kids dropped a small toy in the toilet I figured out why. I ordered this after resolving that issue in a less-than-desirable way. It's well made and sturdy, but still flexible. It's easy to control. I've used it to retrieve a few things since then with various and it's pretty easy to clean as well.I'd say this is a worthwhile purchase... get one BEFORE you need it. Don't be me.

Flimsy and couldn’t grasp a piece of plastic without breaking.
This product broke on first use trying to remove a stuck piece of plastic from a 3 inch diameter pvc pipe

claw gets stuck
Do not move in and out too fast the claw will get stuck. But work well otherwise.
