You pay for quality, and it's worth it.
These days, after countless failures, I only buy Lindy cables. They last indefinitely (so far!) and carry higher current than other cables (due to better materials used in manufacturing). Lindy is a safe brand, and the extra cost is well worth it in the long run. (I have no connection with Lindy, other than as a customer.)

SOLIDLY MADE WITH EXCELLENT CONNECTORS!
Forget all the over-priced, so-called "high end" cables. Digital connections either work or they do not without nuances! The quality and robustness of these cables is excellent with lossless transmission of information.
