This book is of excellent quality. It seems rare now to obtain hardback copies of important pieces of literature, whatever language. Of course, this is a seminal work by Pushkin which needs no further comment, but this book is a real pleasure to hold. The print is lovely and bold, with illustrations in daguerreotype that really add to the enjoyment of the text - printed on very nice paper that is quite a joy. Reading this alongside listening to the recording from Audible is a great experience of such an important literary work.

日本語版のオネーギンはさまざまな翻訳者によるものを読みました。単なる美しい恋愛小説ではありません。男性主人公であるオネーギンは『他国のキャラ』の真似として存在し、女性主人公タチアナは外国小説にどっぷり浸かり、小説の登場人物の真似をして、当時のロシアの貴族社会では到底許されない『男性にこっそり文を書く』ということをやらかす……という、精神が自国から離れた人たちの話であり、これが国民文学のロシアにはひたすら畏敬の念を覚えます。オネーギンの悲劇は、人生のタイミングが合わなかったこと、モデルにする地に足のついた人物がいない世代であったこと、放蕩に飽きてから突然、恋をしてしまったこと(下手をすると初めて)、などでしょう。彼の痛ましさには同情します。プーシキン本人の語りは軽快かつ時に辛辣でクレイジーで、どの日本語訳で読んでも非常に魅力的でした。私はロシア語ができません。ただ、キリル文字の発音は少々わかるので、英語と比べながら読んでみたいと思いました。英語バージョンとロシア語バージョンが両方入った本だと思って購入したのですが、英語が見当たりません。ХАХАХА!

Es una novela de literatura rusa escrita en una prosa como solo Pushkin sabe escribir. Sus peronajes te cautivan y sus versos hacen la lectura mas amena. El inconveniente es que tienes que saber ruso para poder disfrutar de esta obra genial.
