It's so simple you dont need instructions but I am very mechanically inclined and had to stop and re-do a coulple of steps. There are a few ways to screw up the install and I found a few. The unit is well built and looks great but I would have liked some third grade instuctions. Still, I would buy it again.

Nicely packed and everything was included. However, one of the side-mounting plates is not chrome plated very well. Looks like crap and clearly visible in my pics I've attached. Either they didn't use enough plating material or just did a crappy job. What factory line inspector would allow such a thing to pass through to shipping? The rest of it looks nice. Bolted everything together and it appears like it will be sturdy. Not sure yet how it will hold up. The back rest foam is pretty flimsy and it attaches with 2 little wood screws. Not my favorite.

Fit the little Rebel perfectly. Now the dogs crash cage acts like a back rest. Wish I had a better pic of luggage rack

Fit great, looks good, just what my wife's Rebel needed for strapping her bag to when we take a trip.

Love it, but... 5mm inboard screw needs to be .25" longer. It only catches by 2 or 3 threads when clamping on the luggage rack and when the larger outboard screw is tightened, it pulls the inboard screw out of the the threads. $1 at the hardware store for a 5mm screw .25" longer and it worked perfect!

excellent piece for the money. seems to fit well and is decent quality.
