Good lock. Didn't look at the description well enough as it's keyed on both sides...it's better as a storage or limited entry doorway. I ended up installing it on my front door and it works but just gotta keep the keys in a place I remember or it'll stay locked...need lubricant as it'll some snag but I enjoy it anyways

There is a few problems when it comes to installing on iron gate in picture. It’s a standard metal lock box that’s fits all dead bolts locks. But this specific dead bolt does not work. You must have some knowledge to assembly outside and make sure that you can open with key from both sides. The cylinder with the flat peace that goes into the dead bolt, the curve side has to face the top and bottom. The two flat side has to face each other.Major problem for steel gate dead bolt box.When you install this lock on the steal gate standard lock box that fits all dead bolts.When you tighten the two long screws the sock bind off on one side you cannot turn the key, if you slackens the blots the lock works again.The problem, the picture with the cylinder, that I specifically show the flat metal with the half round side, ITS TOO LONG SO WHEN TIGHTEN IT BRACES AGAINST THE OPPOSITE SIDE CYLINDER, Hence making the cylinder so tight you cannot turn the key.It’s a manufacturer designed flaw.For this dead bolt to work, YOU HAVE TO CUT THAT HALF ROUND FLAT MATERIAL ON THE CYLINDER ABOUT 1/16” OF AN INCH OFF ON BOTH CYLINDER with a grinder.Now when you tighten the lock that flat metal does not bind off on the other cylinder.I also included a picture of the steal gate lock box that everyone uses. So you have an idea. The manufacturer should compensate me to find this flaw in the mechanics design of this lock.

We put this on our camper. It is extremely secure but took some modifying to get it to work right. Only three stars for installation because it is not like a regular lock. You'll need a few skills. Unaffected by dust and does not feel like the key is going to break anytime soon

The back of the lock broke on the first day I bought it on the second one I installed. The lock broke after three days. Seems like the locks are put together using different lock parts trying to keep the price low for profit versus giving authentic product.

Had a pro install these. Very nice, high quality; usually for businesses. Helps me feel at least a little safer.

I am now a fan of these multlocks.

As another review mentioned the instructions included with this lock are generic & do not even belong with this lock.. Might as well include instructions for a blender.. The lock cylinder had to be disassembled & security washer flipped just to get the lock to work. (Not a single thing in the manual about this) got it on my door & noticed this dead bolt intermittently will not lock. Key turns, Dead bolt slides out like normal, But if you push it slides right back in!! Not secure at all! You can Jimmy this open with a pocket knife or small flathead. I am very dissatisfied will not buy another multilock. My cheap kwik set wasn't plagued with any off these issues.
