Epoxy Resin Crystal Clear Kit for Art, Coating, Casting, Painting, Jewelry, and Molds - 16oz with CUPS AND STIR STICKS

The product was purchased with the intention of filling knotholes in a farmhouse tabletop. One hole was particularly deep at 1.5", the rest I considered marginal but wanted to ensure no crumbs or bacteria could hide in the crevasses. What drew me to this product was the reference to a thinner viscosity than other options. I felt this would better fill the knots with less potential for air pockets and/or bubbles. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of use and the results. My only critique would be the clarity of the finish. While the epoxy finished very smooth, I couldn't see any texture detail of the large and deep knothole under the smooth surface but that can also be somewhat attributed to the darkness of the knot.In my estimation and experimentation, the key is making sure the two parts are measured correctly and THOROUGHLY mixed for a MINIMUM of 5 minutes. Five minutes of timed, continual stirring yielded the best results with virtually no bubbles. I was able to completely fill the largest knothole in one pouring and even at that considerable depth, it was completely dry to the touch in 24 hours. All holes in the tabletop were allowed to fully cure for 3 days before finishing.For my specific application, I'll be using this brand of epoxy resin in future projects as it suitably fits my need.

I had tried a different brand of resin and was really unhappy with how it turned out and blamed myself and not the off brand resin. THIS STUFF is awesome! I used it to finish a painting on wood and it has the most luxurious gloss and it was so easy to use. I hardly got any bubbles which I think is due to the instructions mentioning to try not lifting your mixing spatula out of the resin too much because it creates bubbles. I’m very happy with this!!

This product works extremely well. I used it to recreate the arm in the Holocaust Museum and it was way thicker than the recommended thickness and it completely dried. The only problem was that it was missing a measuring cup.

I usually never leave reviews , but this is honestly one of my favorite resin ! It’s easy to work with , no Oder , cures in 24hours , semi hard in 8 hours , little to no bubbles ! AND THE BEST PART IS it does not leave my flowers yellowing , I feel like some resin changes my objects or flowers color and this resin doesn’t !

I really liked it. Easy to use but my bottle leaks from it being delivered damaged but overall its good

Used this with some alcohol inks and the colors look beautiful! The directions said to let the bottles soak in warm water before mixing, not sure if that made a difference, but I did get a really smooth pour. There were a few bubbles while mixing, but most of them popped when I poured my molds and left it to sit for a few minutes. I took care of the rest with a quick pass with a blow torch. This resin had a pretty long pot time, which is great if you're mixing and pouring a lot of batches of different colors. I'm pleased with my results and recommend this product, especially for the value.

This kit works very well, I'm very pleased with the projects I completed with this. My sister passed and with this kit I was able to preserve some daisies from her funeral. The only thing that you need, other than some molds, is a measuring cup to mix the resin into. Excellent product, highly reccomend, especially for amateurs. I had never made anything with resin before and everything came out perfect.

It was the first time I used resin. It worked out great I weighted the bottom of my putter and covered the weights with resin. I have a old two ball putter the resin was easy to use and looks great. Plus I replaced the to inserts its a new putter for under $50.
