I use this mic to enhance the audio on my livestream videos. I do online livestream fitness videos and the sound is crisp, loud and clear. It works very well and my clients even commented on how great it all sounds.Super easy to connect - plug and play - simply plug in the USB into your computer, turn on the mic box which you attach somewhere on your body and it automatically pairs instantly out of the box.The sound is professional and would suit any type of use including commercial in my opinion.I highly recommend this product and I would buy again in a heart beat.

I bought this to do some easy web videos via my iPhone. I work in broadcast engineering for a career, but this application is just for fun. I did not want to spend a lot of money but I wanted it to sound decent. This unit is the ticket, with a few caveats- 1) the stock mic isn’t that great. The iPhone built in mic sounds much better. I found that if you purchase the JK MIC-J 044 Lapel Microphone Lavalier Microphone (Amazon), the quality is drastically improved and almost perfect. The mic is $30 (BTW, in the broadcast world, all of this is very cheap. $1500+ is typical for pro event wireless mics). 2) this uses the license-free 2.4 GHz band, the same band that your wifi and Bluetooth devices use. As a result, if you go far away from the receiver or use this say in a crowded venue, you won’t be able to go far without hearing some audio hits. If you are close to the receiver (within 15’) or in an open area that is not super packed, you’ll be fine. Finally, if you’re using this with an iPhone, you’ll need an Apple lightning to USB adapter. Buy the genuine Apple. Chinese knockoffs are problematic.

First, let me tell you my experience, I have received the mic without the receiver, so the first thought was to return it... But I contacted the support and they quickly responded and send me the receiver, without extra cost... So 5 start for customer service.The product works just fine, but sometimes you have to put it close to you mouth to have better quality... So for example, if you are making an interview, the voice of the other person will sound lower that yours if you don't put it close to there mouth.So I have to edited the sound to have better quality.But anyway, for the price, I think this product works fine.If you want more quality, like in my case (for TV programs) then, will be better to buy a more expensive one for more quality.

I stream on Twitch and already have a halfway decent streaming setup including an AT2020USB+ mic (decent mid tier mic for streaming or podcasting once you noise gate it so it quits trying to pick up Martian farts). But being a variety streamer I also do art & stuff so I wanted to take my stream outside to do epoxy resin art. That means I need both hands and no more wires tangling me up. This mic did that beautifully. It sounds great, has amazing range (I forgot to mute and my stream got to listen to me trying and failing at flirting with the pizza delivery girl way down my driveway out in the street) and the battery life is amazing. The quality, even being a wireless mic, is on par with many other wired $100-$200 options out there. It's legit comparable to an AT2020 or a Blu Yeti. A lot of folks haven't even noticed when I switch from my Audio Technica to this.

Samson microphones were recommended by the university where I teach. I started with the lav mic. The quality was OK, but I had to attach the mic all the way up on my shirt collar to get the pickup to the point where students could hear me. I worked with our tech support team, cranked the gain up to maximum, and fiddled with all the other settings we could think of, but the lack of volume persisted. Then I switched to the Samson headset mic. The volume was better on the receiving end, but the students complained of intermittent static, with the mic cutting out briefly. Also the headset band was very hard to adjust if used by different users with different head sizes, so you really have to plan on having a dedicated headset for each user. So, unfortunately, I'm 0 for 2 with Samson headsets. I've gone back to condenser mic when I need high quality and the mic built into my Logitech camera when good enough sound quality is good enough. I've read lots of other good reviews of Samson mics, so I'm not sure why I experienced poor sound quality with both models; but having worked at length with a very good AV team, I'm pretty sure it's not just because of something I was doing wrong.

If you like, crackling audio and dropped words from your podcast and/or videos, this is the mic for you.I have tried so hard to make this Mic! I have purchased two of them in hopes that maybe the first one was faulty. However, the second one is equally as bad.At times it works, and even it does I love it because it’s so small and it’s so easy to conceal. However, it’s become so unreliable. I am done! I’ve wasted so much time on creating wonderful podcast only to find out that there’s crackling throughout. Beyond frustrating!

I use this every day. I have in class students as well as distance learning students, and I do my direct instruction to both at the same time. With this I can move around effectively.I tested this microphone to over 200 feet and 3 concrete walls with no degradation of quality.Took about 3 seconds to set up. Easy and works great. I replaced the battery about once a month even if it doesn't need it because I don't want to have it run out in process.I should note that I bought a JK MIC-044 lapel mic to upgrade this. I never used the mic that comes with it. Quality is perfect.

Very surprised that I could get a quality sounding wireless USB mic. It is as easy as setting up a mouse. It works great with OBS. I really like the easy of use, easy set-up and compatibility with OBS! For a great price.

El micrófono que envían es de pésima calidad. Parece de juguete. Tuve que comprar otro micrófono para que funcionará. Ni siquiera se oye. Y no quise devolverlo, porque el transmisor samson si es muy bueno.

This product was delivered on time (rush delivery). I purchased this item for live streaming on Zoom. It worked out of the box on my MacBook. The sound quality is good, but this is not a high-end microphone (it meets my expectations). The screw for volume control on the portable transmitter needed some adjustment. A small screw driver is enclosed in the portable receiver to make the adjustment. I like the LED on the USB receiver which lights up if it is paired with the transmitter. Makes it easy to check that the transmitter is on/has not run out of battery.

Nach ewig langer Suche nach einem kostengünstigen, aber vernünftigen kabellosen Lavaliermikrofon bin ich auf das Samson XPD2 gestoßen. Es ist super einfach zu verbinden, unter Windows 10 muss nur der USB-Dongle angeschlossen, und auf Pair gedrückt werden, und der Sender eingeschaltet sein, schon ist es innerhalb von 2-3 Sekunden verbunden. Im Lieferumfang ist sogar ein kleiner Schraubenzieher, mit dem das Gain (Lautstärke) am Sender einstellen kann.Die Sprachqualität ist super, auch wenn man etwas nachhelfen muss, um einen wirklich professionellen Sound herauszubekommen. Von Werk aus klingt das Mikrofon recht mittig, und nimmt auch erstaunlich viele Tiefmitten auf. Der obere Frequenzgang ist sehr angenehm, und es sind nicht zu viele zischende „S“ Laute oder künstlich überbetonte Höhen zu hören.Um allerdings eine klare und präsente Stimme zu bekommen, muss man im Nachgang die hohen Frequenzen um die 8Kz etwas anheben. Mit etwas Erfahrung in der Nachbearbeitung von Sprachaufnahmen lässt sich hier aber ein absolut solider Sound herausholen. Wenn ich nicht wüsste, dass es nur 65€ gekostet hat, könnte ich es im Nachhinein nicht mehr als solches Erkennen.Eingesetzt wird das Mikrofon jetzt für die Social Media Videos meines Tonstudios, und dafür ist es wunderbar.
