TorgoenT9 Cream GMT Pilot Watch for Men, Swiss Quartz, Mineral Crystal with Blue Leather Strap

My Torgoen T9 Pilot's Watch with GMT and date complications arrived this morning. It is just the right size at 42mm diameter face so that all of the data provided is legible and easy on the eyes. With its cream face, blue minute and hour hands, numbers and markers set against the highly legible orange GMT hand and orange stitching of the high quality soft blue leather strap near the lugs, the watch is not only functional but beautiful and aesthetically pleasing.Did I say it was functional? The date and GMT complications work beautifully and are highly useful as well as easy to use.The watch is exceedingly well-made and sports the time-tested and proven Ronda 515.25H GMT movement. I have this same movement in several other watches I own and none has ever failed over a period of twenty years. It is both dependable and accurate. The weight of the watch is perfect so that it is comfortable as it sits on one's wrist.You can spend more on a GMT watch but you will not exceed the high value quotient of the Torgoen T9!

I wanted a GMT watch the entire 24 years I flew for the U.S. Air Force. Retired now, but better late than never. The watch is gorgeous in person and easily readable. All functions work perfectly. I ordered it on Tuesday and it arrived Friday. I note that it has a quick-release strap, which will allow me to change its look from time to time, although so far I love the strap it comes with. Haven't had it long enough to judge its accuracy, but it appears to be keeping excellent time.

If you like a pilot style-like dial with GMT movement, it's hard to beat this watch. Leather strap is almost buttery in it's smoothness and suppleness. Gorgeous watch dial in creamy white. The blue strap is more subtle in person and accents the dial numerals beautifully. I've also swapped out the strap with a brown leather strap I already had for a change of look and it pairs fantastic as well. Great watch and at this price range would be a fantastic gift that won't break the bank.

I love watches. Lately, I've focused on those with a Swiss connection. Torgoen uses a Swiss-made battery-powered movement, "Swiss Quartz."But other parts, and assembly may be done somewhere else in the world. So at the bottom of the face, you see "Swiss Movt."If at least 50% of the watch uses Swiss parts, you will see "Swiss Made." This watch has a Swiss movement.This watch is terrific. Stainless steel case. Water resistant. Dont take it swimming, but a hard rain shouldn't harm it.The T9 series is brand new, and the most affordable Torgoen so far. The dial has non-radioactive hands that glow at night, assuming they were properly charged during the day.The lug is 22mm and the leather strap is a beast. Thick and heavy. It has heft. The buckle is big and perfect for the strap.This is a pilot's watch. The dial is big, but not too big. I don't care much for watches with dials larger than 42mm, so this perfect for me.I believe this pilot's dial is what's known as Luftwaffe A.The dial window is mineral crystal. That was why I didn't buy this gorgeous watch immediately. I prefer sapphire. A watch at this price is right on the border.I said it was a Pilot's watch. It has a GMT hand that can be set for different time zones. I'm not a pilot, but I should log about 100,000 air miles this year in my job, so I will us it.This has become my favorite watch. The dial is imminently readable, as is the date, with a window at 4:30 on the face.Highly recommended.

Love the watch but the band color is definitely green not blue. I got two different watches and both had the same band color.

Solid watch overall especially for the price. I'm not impressed with the luminescent hands, they don't keep their charge for very long, and the blue dye on the watch band lasted about 6 days before fading completely to brown.

My fiancée got me this watch for my birthday and it’s been amazing! Great watch!

Second had does not line up with tick marks on watch face. face of watch looks like it's a decal that was stuck on. Setting the time accurately is difficult because of too much play in the crown.
