I have been buying this product directly from Darphin for years and love it. I was excited to see it offered here from Amazon at a lower price, but was very disappointed to find that the product I received from Amazon, although packaged almost identically, was not the same as the manufacturer's product. The cream was a different consistency and the jar was not full to the top, as it customarily is when I get it directly from the manufacturer. It appeared to be a fake, so I called Darphin, and they confirmed it was not their product.I have included a photo of the product I received from Amazon on the left and the product I received from.the manufacturer, Darphin, on the right. Note the difference in the placement of the product name under the manufacturer name and the difference in the fullness of the jar.

Silky smooth and delicious on your skin. I love this product. One jar lasts me around 5 months as a pea-sized amount goes a long way for each application which helps justify the cost. I highly recommend this product!

This product has an ingredient list a mile long. Lots of good stuff in there but much of it, like the plant extracts, become unstable when exposed to air. Why, then, do they sell this in a jar?? The cream starts to lose efficacy the moment you open the lid and expose it to the air (and dip your bacteria-laden fingers into it)! It also contains fragrance, which is potentially irritating. At this price point, a good, air-tight pump is the least one would expect.
