Q: what is the length/height for optical fiber..?

Hi，B07PFVMZ86 is with 9.8ft/3m 0.75mm flash point fiber optic cable.

Q: 450 Strands 0.03in/0.75mm 13.1ft/4m does that mean that the length of each strand is 4m? How does it "flatten-out" to make the curtain?

Yes the item (Asin: B07PM1686N) is with 450 strands of 4 meter fiber optic, diameter is 0.75mm. If you need to make it like a curtain, you need to have a chassis to drill holes then insert the flash point fiber optic cable into the hole, to make the optic cables keep flatten-out status and fix some crystal ends at its end to make them more straight. We only sale the light kit, without the chassis. You can buy on other shops or make a simple chassis by yourself, such as to buy a wire basket then put the light engine into it and separate the cables into many bundles by its holes, or make a board/box which with holes beneath, can put the light box on it and separate its fiber optic cable in its holes, then fix the board/box on the wall or ceiling.
