No ,i placed it on my kids's gaming room

Will you turn on lamp glowing 24/7 ,how long you usually keep lamp working.

I purchased it for my Autism son ,he's been watching on lamp day and night ,fascinated on fish moving .suriprisingly found my son become so calm while pump working .It's as if magic works .i placed lamp in his room and lamp keeps 24/7 glowing and humming .I am happy to see my son love it so much .

It's a 'plexi-glass' type of plastic tube. Clean the outside with just a damp cloth and maybe a little window cleaner. The best way to clean inside is to try and not let it get dirty in the first place. Don't use regular tap water use distilled water to inhibit algae growth. Also an algae inhibitor additive (found at aquarium stores) can be added to the water. But if you must do a thorough interior cleaning i would a use warm soapy water solution (fill the tube with warm water with just a little dishwashing liquid added & maybe a capfull of bleach or windex) and just let it sit for a few minutes. Swish it around by inverting the tube, empty, then repeat with distilled water to rinse. I'd avoid large quantities of harsh cleaning chemicals just to protect the LED light system at the bottom of the base. The LED system appears to be enclosed/separated in the tubes bottom, but still it's better to be safe than sorry--with gentle cleaning techniques to avoid damaging the components, or scratching and clouding the tubes interior.

Can I use regular tap water to fill it up?
