Love Henckels knives
I was raised with good German steel in the kitchen, and Henckels was a byword for quality. It feels like they may have broadened out in to more cheap faddish products in recent years, but their core sets remain the same lovely high quality knives I've always known. I don't fool myself that this particular blade is an ultra-high-end chef's knife (would need to add a 0 to the price for that), but I am not an ultra-high-end chef. I am a normal, everyday user, and this knife is outstanding for everyday users like me. The grip is well balanced, the blade it sharp, it goes through bread effortlessly, and the slight upward curve towards the tip allows for a more natural cutting stroke. I'll keep this knife around for a long time.Pros:- High quality manufacture- Well balanced and sharp- Shaped for the task- Cuts cleanly, with no crushing or tearingCons:- It comes in a cheap plastic packaging (meant for shop display, not storage) and doesn't have a sheath, making it a menace to fingers in drawers for those without a spare slot in their knife block.Summary:- An excellent bread knife - you won't find better for the price.

Razor sharp cuts on delicate breads
I have gotten into bread making during quarantine but hadn’t invested in a proper bread knife till now. I make a light and airy no knead bread that is very delicate. As a result, I’ve had to have jagged messes of slices for sandwiches when I would attempt to cut it with my Wusthof chef’s knife. After using this knife one time I can’t believe I didn’t make the investment sooner! This cut super thin slices with ease and was able to easily break through the very hard crust bottom that Dutch oven breads have. I’m very happy and impressed with this knife, it’s worth every penny.

Easy to handle
I got two of these becuase some one ordered one and I ordered one. I guess I have to return one. I have a collection of bread knives. I love making crusty breads and don’t like squishing the bread to cut it. In the last few years I am quite disappointed with quite a few bread knives. This one is the first one I was like this handles the cut so well. It was easy to slice and not a fight the bread. I hope it stays that way unlike some of the reviews I read here. The knife is made in Spain with forged steel is not mass produced elsewhere.

It cuts bread lol
Pretty much just a good ole bread knife nothing to special here its good quality on par with J.A. Henckels standards it hasnt seemed to dell much ut its been lightly used I dont use much. Looks wise its pretty plain and basic it does have a sharp look about it though. I like the knife and its good quality I would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent quality knife for a decent price nothing too fancy just functional.

Best Bread Knife I've Ever Found
A sturdy grip with excellent balance! To be used 95% of the time on non-gluten home-baked products. It smoothly separated slice from loaf. It replaces a made in china monstrosity that is wobbley abd relatively useless compared to this Henckels tool!The reviews mattered and doing some homework brought up a winning baking tool.

Great bread knife
I love this bread knife. It even cuts the crustiest bread very easily. I would definitely recommend it.
