UJ Ramelson Linoleum/Woodcarving Tool UJ209

I purchased this set for my dad. He has been carving for quite some time and is fairly new to using chisels. “It was about time for a really good set. I’m not a rich man, so I tried UJ Ramelson. So glad I did. I think it’ll last me until I leave the planet. I have grandkids who carve and they can have it when I “check out.” Sharp right out of the box. Sturdy also.”

These tools are very sturdy, and seem well made. However, the cutting edges are not ready for use right out of the package. They are dull and uneven. As a beginner, I dont have the necessary tools to grind a new edge for these, so I will need to bring them to a professional. I only have tools to sharpen and hone. I can't fix these without help. That said, they are very sturdy, and have comfortable grips.

Like the tools very sharp.
