Cracking little lens
After reading and watching reviews for this lens I took the plunge and bought one. I previously had the Fujifilm XF 35 1.4 but had to sell it. Couldn't afford another so looked at the cheap Chinese options. The Meike 35mm 1.7 and 1.4 both get good reviews, but the 1.4 is newer slightly updated model. With the added bonus of being slightly faster. But 50% more expensive. Went with the 1.4 and so far so good.Pros: metal construction with tight tolerances. Buttery smooth focus and aperture rings. Reasonable close focus. Lovely bokeh. Quite sharp at 1.4 in the centre. Really sharp by 2.8 in the centre. Edges sharpen up nicely as the aperture closes. Focus a breeze with Fuji X-T1 (using a mixture of peaking and focus zoom).Cons: critical focus a bit more tricky in very low light where the peaking cannot help. Ultimately it cannot match the Fujifilm 35mm (1.4 & 2). Nor would you expect too.If the budget is real tight its a good option. The brand new price is £200+ lower than the secondhand prices for the Fujifilm XF 35mm 1.4 and XF 35mm f2. I am certainly very pleased.

Amazing
I am horrified / in shock at the sharpness of this lens ; it's way too good for the price you pay. It's as good as the original Fujifilm primes, and...and... and you get true mechanical manual focus. This is a must-experience for Fujifilm owners... I use cameras like the Xpro2/3 and XT1... I can't think why anyone would be without this lens. Do not lose out by not having a manual focus lens. Don't expect too much though... there are limitations, but hopefully you will be surprised with the result. The experience and feel of manual focus (I use standard setting plus the magnified view) is one that every photographer should have at his / her disposal. I will just add that the build quality is not quite as good as the Meike 25mm f/2.8 but really the plus points outweigh the minus points. I paid just under £100

Did not fit my Fujifilm X T-100
Looks like a quality built product, however did not fit my Fujifilm X T-100 despite saying so in the description, this lens fitting is slightly too large for the camera, so I have had to return it.

This is an absolute steal!
Wow! This lens is so sharp and bokehalicious. It's light and fun to use. Slight issue with chromatic abberation when wide open but this can easily be corrected in post production. Of course being a manual lens it takes slightly longer to focus, but if you want to improve your photography skills this is the way to go. The focus ring is a bit long but for the price and quality of build and sharpness you can't really complain. I'm in love with this lens.

A great buy at this price point
Fantastic little lens that's really sharp even wide open. Looks stylish, great value and well built. I'd prefer if the aperture ring wasn't de clicked but can live with that. Tends to flare in bright light so it's worth buying a lens hood (metal ones available Amazon for the filter size for about £6.50!)All in all a great buy at this price point.

Does not fit Panasonic DMC-GH2
This looks like a great and good-quality lens. Unfortunately, I could not test it myself because contrary to the product description it does not fit my Panasonic DMC-GH2 because the lens mount is slightly too large. I had to return it.
