Worth the money, Would not buy at full price
I recently purchased the Remington F3 Style Series Electric Shaver, and it has quickly become an essential part of my grooming routine. Here are a few key points that make it a great choice:1. **Efficient Shaving**: This shaver provides a close and efficient shave, leaving my skin feeling smooth. The three independent floating heads adapt to the contours of my face, ensuring a comfortable and precise shave.2. **Pop-Up Trimmer**: The pop-up trimmer is a handy feature. It allows me to detail and groom my facial hair with ease, whether it's shaping sideburns or maintaining a beard.3. **Cordless Convenience**: Being cordless and rechargeable is a significant advantage. I appreciate the freedom to shave without being tethered to an outlet. The battery life is sufficient for multiple uses before needing a recharge.4. **Easy to Clean**: Cleaning this shaver is a breeze. The heads can be easily removed and rinsed under running water, which is a time-saving feature.5. **Comfortable Grip**: The shaver has an ergonomic design with a comfortable grip. It's easy to hold and maneuver around the face, making shaving a comfortable experience.6. **Affordable Price**: The Remington F3 Style Series Electric Shaver offers solid performance at an affordable price point, making it a practical choice for those looking for a reliable electric shaver without breaking the bank.

Trimmer is useless
I own the original model with this design, I dont know HOW long ago I bought it, but it was a LONG TIME AGO.This version isnt so impressive; first off the packaging - is 75% air; why not just use a smaller box?Next, it is really light compared to the original, and the textured surface isnt as grippy.Thirdly, as per the headline, the trimmer is useless, all it does is grab some skin and stall; and why the stupid design? On my original version, it was alongside the shaving heads, meaning it could be used alongside them to remove long hairs AND shave the area smooth at the same time; there was not one part of my face where this trimmer didnt fit, so why this stupid design change? Finally, a minor gripe about the proprietary power lead, WHY ? What is wrong with a standard figure-of-eight ????Having said all that, it is a decent shaver.

Good Value For The Price
I have been using a Remington Remington F7800 Dual Foil Shaver for 9 years.Little annoyed it’s got to be replaced but I suppose any electrical item you use every day for 9 years is going to stop working in the end. I’ve probably been struggling with a few problems with it for a year or more.As with all my Remingtons I always have a sneaky suspicion they have built-in obsolescence. Each one has had to be replaced when a very different element finally breaks. The plug connector becoming impossible lose, the push in button no longer working as it becomes mis-alighted inside the casing, the springs connections no longer holding the two ridged mettle things in place etc.In the case of the Remington F7800 no longer holds any battery charge. The reason I have stuck with them is they seem more efficient than other brands – or at least they did when I started buying them. It’s been so long since I used another brand the comparison may now be very different. It is also hard to compare because once you buy one and try it you usually can’t return it anyway once you have peeled of the see-through plastic foil protector so you are stuck with it for a few years unless it is truly terrible. Oddly this one did not come with a foil bit of plastic over it. A returned item perhaps? I went for Remington all those years ago because it seemed to take less time to clear my face of growth than the Braun model I had at the time. I want this job done quickly every day!Remingtons vary in price and I used to go for mid-range but this time I decided to go for a cheaper model. The foil replacements alone are so expensive that I felt it might work out cheaper over time just to buy a new F3 shaver than get a replacement foil. There is only a few pounds difference! The foil size is smaller than my old shaver and it doesn’t have the handy LED display showing how many minutes of power are left. However the F3 cuts well, is cheap and no doubt will last me a fair few years before another element wears down. I suspect that the more expensive models would not last any longer so it is worth a go. Especially as every time I go to the supermarket I now feel like I have been mugged anything that saves money is to be considered.

2 year warranty does not apply to mesh guard
The mesh guard on these are weak & wear quickly. Unfortunately Remington only cover these for 6 months. No issues with razr apart from that.

It's good.
OK, I only got this yesterday so the five star rating is because it does the job and I haven't had time to take issue with battery life or cleaning. Many moons have passed since I last used a dry shaver. It is satisfyingly heavy and feels substantial in your hand. I have sideburns and a beard so not much left to shave. Rather it's about trimming round the edges and the trimmer on this works well. Shaving the rest will probably take a bit of practice to get the angle of dangle right but it shaves as well as it needs to. Not as satisfying as a wet shave but it was never going to be. Overall I like it and can't fault it. The price is good and you certainly get your money's worth. I am very pleased with it and glad I overcame my aversion to dry shaving. Its price puts it in the buy it and try it category and I recommend that you do so.

For just £30 this is real value
Shaves reasonably closely, soothing hum, light to hold…..bought this F3 shaver as it was just a couple of pounds more expensive than buying and fitting genuine Remington replacement foil and cutters for my previous quite heavy and expensive Remington. New shaver gives just as good a shave ………but old shaver now lies redundant in a drawer…..why do replacement cutters etc. have to be so pricy?
