Possible Dog Can Escape.
I bought this tent crate because I wanted to be able to take Blue (APBT) on outdoor trips like camping or to the beach.Like: light weight, easy set up, great for traveling. Metal frame is sturdy. Easy to store away for space. Comes with cushion. As soon as I set it up Blue went inside without command or training. He loved it. I called it his dog-man cave.Dislike: after three days. Blue was very much comfortable. However, after a 30 min appointment I come home and Blue was not secured in his crate. He tore through the stitching. Not like he chewed a hole, he pushed so hard to break through that the sewing came apart and the zipper line ripped apart. If you think your dog is well behaved and won't attempt to break out, think again.I spent $106 for this tent and it hurts to think now of it as just an expensive paperweight. I only hope that I can find a seamstress to repair it. Or perhaps the merchant can replace the fabric covering.

Sturdy with young lab!
I was nervous about it being just fabric. My lab is a super chewer and will destroy any type of bed / mat when he is bored. We gave this bed a shot staying at my parents. It's perfect! My 50 lb lab has plenty of space. It's easy to assemble + transport. AND he hasn't torn it up (he's only 16 months so still super energetic). If the zippers are apart at all he is able to carefully unzip it with his paw. I recommend zipping both zippers up to the top corner. He does have a chew toy in the crate when he goes in to help. LOVE LOVE this crate! We bought it for $40 (ish) dollars, but it's worth the $86I drive a Rav 4 and his XL petsafe crate just takes too much space on road trips. This will be our new go to!

Sturdy and so Simple!
I use this inside the camper for my rabbit, Buster, while we're camping. It's just as sturdy as a metal crate (which I hated setting up and breaking down) without all the weight. Extremely simple to set up, unfold and place the bar... done! Reverse to break down. I would have liked to get the larger crate, but this one (36 by 25.5 by 28-Inch) is the same size as his nighttime crate at home and fits nicely in the limited space in the camper. Plenty of room for his litter box, water bowl, bed roll, and play. One of the main reasons I bought this particular portable crate is because of the high canvas sides, which makes the entire crate very sturdy. I was pleasantly surprised by the thickness of the mesh as well... strong! and he hasn't shown any interest in chewing it, unlike his outdoor playpen that has thin mesh windows and a zipper door that he could reach and chewed through.

Malinois approved
My pup LOVES this crate. I’ve kept it up in my room to get him habituated before traveling, and he chooses to nap in it frequently (it helps that it’s next to my desk, so he can be next to me while I work). He’s a tall Malinois and the extra height is perfect. It’s nearly as tall as his 48” metal crate. He seems to really like the padding as well. He’s moved it around and scratched at it, as he does when getting settled in, and it’s held up. The design is superb for easy setup and the crate is light, making it easy to transport. It’s still large when folded but that is expected. It isn’t the sturdiest crate; if you have a big time chewer or scratcher you may want to think of other options.UPDATE:We still love this crate! I use it as my office crate. My pup loves it, chooses to hang inside it and is happy when I shut him in to leave the room. Sometimes when he’s wanting to be out, he’ll scratch the door or dig. No damage whatsoever, it’s a sturdy material (although he only does this briefly before settling down, a more destructive dog would probably destroy this). I’m very pleased.

Light sturdy crate great for car and home.
I already own one of these and I saw it on sale for a great price. My sheltie needs multiple crates for the car, agility trials, the bedroom, etc. This one is pretty light to carry, very sturdy, lots of open air circulation, comfortable for the dog. The gray crate matches my leather interior in the car also, so it looks good and does not attract too much attention. I am very happy to have another crate like this.

Junk
my dog is nine years old and has never torn anything up before. He was in it for 10 minutes. I came home and he was outside of the crate. Looks tough but it’s junk.

Sturdy and sets up easy
We like this kennel so much we bought another for our Frenchie. Great for RV traveling. Originally bought for 2 chihuahuas and fits them perfectly. Sets up quick and folds small.

Ok, but not great
I have had one of the original green canine campers for 10 years - has a little wear around the edges, but that thing is a tank! Very sturdy, easy to set up and take down. My worst complaint about is that it's heavy. Got a Guardian Gear 4 years ago . It seemed a little chintzy compared to the CC, but set up the same way and servers its purpose until my very well crate trained older dog decided to shred a seam. So the search began again for a good soft crate. I found that ALL of them set up differently now, but I needed up going with the new Midwest soft crate because I trusted the name. It is ok, but I don't like how it sets up ( can't even begin to describe it) but I really don't like that the wires are bare and inside where the dog can lay against them. you can also feel them through the floor. I would like it to have a carrying case because they do wear on the edges you tend to drag them around ( I use mine at dog shows). I am using the carrying case from the old guardian Gear. I do feel that it is a sturdy soft crate, don't mind that it doesn't have window covers because I never used the ones on the other crates. Overall it's not a bad crate, and I have learned to deal with setting it up and taking it down ( works better if you set it on its end ) , just unhappy with they way soft crates have gone.
