Hones superb
Just a tiny amount is needed to stropping leather and it hones beautifully. Will last a long time even though its a small tube, you dont need much.

Removes A Burr Flawlessly
This diamond paste is great, I used it on the grain side of a 10" leather strop I made myself with leather from a belt making kit. It was very easy to use and apply, the syringe it comes in works relatively well. When I first applied I definitely had used a little too much for the size of my strop, a little bit goes along with this stuff. I spread it over the strop using a dull razor blade and it covered the entire surface nicely before drying out. I would recommend letting the compound dry before using the strop as well. If you don't and immediately go to use it, you'll pick up the paste with the edge of your knife. So far I've stropped a few knives, including some with steels like D2, CPM M4, 20CV, and M390, and it removes the last bit of burr extremely well - not to mention that it puts a very nice, shiny finish on the bezel. I had previously sharpened all those knives before stropping but the diamond paste and strop but a true hair whittling edge on my knives. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was for the price. I understand that diamond compound and sprays are not cheap by any means but for the size of the syringe, I do wish they gave a little bit more.

Razor sharp
Used it on a strip of leather to really finish sharpening my straight razor and it really helped bring them back to life. Also used it on my pocket knives and they are definitely sharper than I've been able to get them in the past.

This is definitely the product that you're looking for. You won't regret it.

The Ultimate Polishing Compound
I bought this diamond paste to put a polished edge on my kitchen knives and other blades such as pocket knives. Their finest paste is one micron in size. That is the size of bacteria! Of course you can polish any metal or hard material that is softer than a diamond. So you can polish glass for instance. For those of you who own firearms and want to polish contact surfaces such a feed ramps and sears, they become like glass with this stuff and that means "smooth" low friction motion of parts. I might suggest getting a set they sell of three or four different grades of abrasives. The finest grade is for an extremely polished surface, so if there is any surface scratches (even a polished surface is "scratched" compared to a one micron abrasive), it will polish over them but not take them down. A little goes a long way, though these tubes are small there is more there than it looks. It does not "wear out" as you use it like less hard abrasives. It is a nice item to have for more uses than just putting an edge on a knife. Be creative! This is a great AMERICAN company, and does what this nation WAS known for doing. Producing some of the world's finest products.

Works fine
I use this on a couple of strops and it makes for a nice final step in a knife sharpening progression.
