Works great, no issues
If you are concerned about lead, this is the ticket. The melting characteristics are very similar to standard tin/lead solder. Personally, being a chemist, I know that lead does not vaporize at soldering temperatures, so lead exposure is not much of a concern. But there may be other reasons to avoid lead so this solder is an excellent alternative.

works well, without lead.
Glad it doesn’t contain lead.

A lot of bang for your buck.
The roll dispenser is perfect for the little setup that I have. Now I can work at a faster speed.

Did the job
Needed this to install a Retro Gem in my PlayStation 2 since apparently Sony used lead free solder on these consoles. I didn’t have any problem getting the solder to flow and mod came out great. Though I should have found a smaller gage because this one was a bit to thick for how small the solder joints I was working on.

Helpful!
Tried this and a new soldering iron at the same time, so not sure if the difference in time for some of the joints was the solder or if the iron temp fluctuated. Appreciate this flux/solder- ultim did the job, with less hands, and was able to teach my son soldering much earlier and more safely than I learned.

Not too bad
i solder every day for work, from micro solder work to big joints i do it all so ive been shopping around for decently priced quality solder, while this did get the job done it wasnt the greatest, even trying dry or with flux, rosin, or paste this didnt flow very well just enough to get things done. if youre a beginner and looking for some semi-cheap solder to practice and improve skills i could recommend this! as for pros and those looking for quality solder for an affordable price i would shop around.
