Boss VE-1 Vocal Echo

This thing is great!It gives me just enough echo to put my vocals over the top. I find I don't need to work as hard to project my voice in a relatively loud environment. Saves a lot on my vocal chords. Easy to use and the doubling effect is great for those moments when you need a little help. Overall a nice device with just enough options to give you some different sounds and varying degrees of depth.

The output noise level is a bit high. Nice effects, good enough for mini live shows, but I wouldn't use it in some serious recording scenario.

Works well for live performance.Everyone needs to shut off the echo or reverb while announcing.Also has phantom power, and can be either powered by adapter or batteries. Very versatile.

I am a musician and love all the Boss products. This is by far the best vocal echo machine I have used. Would recommend to anyone, also such fun to use.

Hooks up in minutes in line with your mic. (only 1 though) it's easy to figure out and get to using with a good level of degree within say 15 minutes? It's only possible flaw? Is that there is not adjustment for the amount of vocal "Doubler" you get when you activate it. It's full throttle, as loud as the singer is...no subtlety. I think it's best used in the Chorus parts of songs i.e. in a Bread song OR Beatles... you gotta hear this thing - it's cool.

Excellent tool , I love it !!!

After a couple of months use the unit started going into a mode that sounded like several singers singing at once. At first I thought I had it set up wrong so I tried everything but nothing would stop it from going into this double mode after a few minutes of use. Of course now it is out of the return window so I am stuck with this expensive paper weight. When it did work for those first couple of months it was great but not worth the money I paid for it. I cannot help but wonder why there is only one review on this item at the time I am writing this.
