We have been using this for engine block heaters. Stays flexible in the cold and holds up well to the weather.

I have used a lot of this cord, I had to purchase several rolls for a project we just completed, and this cord was just as nice and anything else we used. The order was easy to place, arrived in just a few days and was well packaged. I will order more as needed.

Website says 75 feet yet when measured only 68 feet. No mention of watts or amps on label received. Be careful!

I live out in the boondocks. nearest anything is about 30 miles away. I know I could have bought this wire at the big box store and paid less. But I would have had to drive about 60 miles round trip to do it. Ordering off Amazon it came when they said it would and did what I needed it to do. All I had to do was walk to the mail box. Getting a little lazy in my old age (70) but it was worth it to me to pay a little more for a good product and not have to fight traffic or rude people.

Yes, it could have a thicker jacket, but it's no worse than a pre-made extension cord. If you want the thicker jacket option with no concern for cost comparison, you can look into Prime 12/3 outdoor extension cord. It's stout.

Got suckered into buying this based on reviews and price. Picture show deceptive view of jacket. THIS IS NOT SJOOW WIRE. It has vertical grooves and smells like chemical cleaner. High rating because its CHEAP. DON'T be fooled by rating.
