Product works as it should and easy install

It can do the job. Thank you so much as I was able to replace faulty factory item with a superior product.

I purchased this cable in January and installed it a couple of weeks ago. When I first took it out of the package I noticed the cable was real stiff in the sheath. The sheath also was very stiff and inflexible. After installation the cable would not retract and make my 2004r shift erratic. I swapped a 2004r from a powerglide in my 1962 Impala and was interested in the adjustability of this cable. It didn’t work. I wish I had tried it earlier now it is to late to return. I guess a $35 lesson learned. I then got a Teckpack K77978 cable and it worked perfectly. I would not use this cable.

Bad design at where it seals to the tranny. It's a plastic piece that bends and doesn't seal with the one bolt to the side of it. I used it on a 700r4The cable adjustment worked slick though

Length adjuster broke after being on car for two weeks. Does not hold position and just slides. In addition, single oil ring seal at base leaks and is insufficient. Found one for half the price on Amazon that functions as advertised. I thought by buying a TCI product, I would be getting g quality and reliability. I was quite disappointed. Stay away from this one.

The seal wouldn't seal right... couldn't get it flush to the transmission. I tried countless of times. One end kept coming up.. I wasn't about to take the transmission back out.
