It works well, one minor (possibly isolated) issue
Yes, it works well. Using these to add a microphone to Koss Pro4s headphones. The microphone quality is fine, as expected for an inline mic, and better than my laptop's mic. Controls work with my samsung phone but that's not my primary use.My only issue isn't necessarily a flaw but was unforseen by me. The cable rubs on my shoulder against my shirt and physically transmits a very noticable, annoying, scratchy rubbing noise into my headphones. The original coiled cable keeps itself off my shirt because of the cable tension, and if it rubs isn't an issue since its smooth rubber, but since this is a straight cable it always wants to lay against my shirt. Maybe it's worse in my case since the pro4s are aluminum body and closed back so it transmits more, not too sure.TLDR: works fine, but straight braided cloth cable into bottom of headphones may rub on shirt and make scratchy sound.

Perfect Cable for Skullcandy Crusher ANC 2
I got the NewFantasia 3.5mm to 3.5mm Male Audio Cable to use with my Skullcandy Crusher ANC 2 headphones, and it has been perfect! The sound quality is excellent, and I especially love that the built-in mic works flawlessly with my Xbox Series X—it was actually the main reason I chose this cable, and it didn’t disappoint. The connection is strong and stable, and I've noticed no lag or sound distortion at all. It also works great with my phone and other audio devices, so it’s versatile for everyday use. The cable feels durable and well-made, and the length is just right. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to connect their headphones to a console or other audio devices. Great quality and value!

For phone calls.
A lot of people were complaining about not being able to hear me clearly on our phone calls, and I figured instead of getting my phone repaired or replaced, or getting a whole headset, that instead I would just use one of these cords that has a mic built into it, along with the headphones I already have that use an unattached audio cord. I hoped I could get a better quality mic on this cord than I would find on a cheap headset. Finding a decent looking cord with built in mic was a small chore. A lot of cords are built with 3.5mm size specifications on one end, but 2.5mm size specifications on the other end, but I needed 3.5mm on both. There are also a lot of similar products that carry the signs of being cheaply made. But this one looked decent. And it is. My mom sounded as happy as if the clouds had just parted for the first time in weeks when she heard me using it. She says I sound even better with it than when my phone was new and working properly. I mean, that's not a high bar, but it's definitely still good. And the quality of construction seems to be fine. I never used the volume control buttons on the cord itself because my devices have their own volume controls, so I can't say anything to that except that this is still an inexpensive item, and so I'll just go ahead and keep avoiding those volume control buttons, because moving parts are often likely to get broken, especially on inexpensive items. For phone calls specifically my experience with this item has been good.
