Good grow lights, happy plants, for off grid growing
I don't write a lot of reviews, but I spent so long researching grow lights that I thought this might help others. These lights are working great for me and my plants. I am very pleased. (I even dropped one and was sure I broke it, but nope, works well. Though I wouldn't try that again...)First of all, I'm off grid. Solar. So need low power usage. These fit the bill. I usually turn them on around 9 am when the sun clears the mountain, and off around 6 pm before the sun sets. But even on cloudy days they don't draw too much and work fine for our simple system. As for if they work for growing, I am pleased. We have a big garden, try to grow all our own produce, start all our plants from seed and I consider growing really important. I am pleased with these lights. I can see plants "leaning in" to the light and growing well up to the light. The lights are not hot and do not burn even when bean and tomato leaves tangle all around the lights. Keeping the lights close to the plants has prevented most of my seedlings from becoming leggy. Only wish I used these sooner!Hanging was easy and simple. And adjustable so as my plants grow, I am lifting the lights higher. They also put out a nice warm white glow - far better than florescent that I've used in the past for growing, or the pink and blue lights I have not been impressed with. We actually really like the glow (and VERY bright) of these lights that we're considering using them in the kitchen even when all the plants are happy in the real sun for the season. Not sure what else to say except the most important thing: my plants are growing nicely and seem very healthy. What more do I want in a grow light?Oh yeah, I was impressed with the price and deliver was timely.

Simply ... Light and Easy Install
If you want the quick answer, these lights are great and met all my expectations. With that said, I am not a scientist. I have not measured the lumens, color intensity or anything else.I am a simple man. Weather this spring has been very strange. My potted plants needed some sunlight and the weather was just not behaving. So I purchased this product.NOW, I was intending on buying a different light, but saw in a review that they liked the Barrina lights better and I think were talking about something functional about the light that I didn't have the tools or practical experience with. Therefore I purchased the Barrina LED set of 4 for a few dollars more.INSTALLATIONThere are a few installation configurations (flush mount, hanging mount and adhesive) which are all provided with the packaging. I didn't use the flush mount mount or adhesive, because I was looking to suspend the light down towards the plant.I needed hanging mount for my configuration and after measuring 6" from both ends, the clamp just clamped in place. Good sure feeling when it was together. They also included several tie wraps that are long enough to suspend the light from its mounting location if you want.In both of my configurations, I had a 2x4 that the unit was going to hang from. I measured things it out, installed the hooks on the 2x4 then hung or suspended the 2x4 in place. Finally, I used the tie wraps to connect the light to the hooks.A great thing about this unit is that it is light weight. I recognized this from the front (of course), yet with the first two lights, I mounted them to the 10ft 2x4 before suspending the 2x4. It worked well, but when I got to the second set, I just mounted them with the tie wraps. If I would have done this with the first mounts, it would definitely would have been easier.Talking about 2 sets of lights, two sets of cables that you plug in to the wall outlet and a cable that would allow you to have all the lights in parallel. So this allows you configure two different light configurations. The plug end has a switch so you can turn the light off using that switch.BRIGHTNESSI was sitting in my garage, calming from a busy day, watching a show on the first night. It was the last day of April and I tend not having clocks around. Hey, I'm retired; lived with clocks all my life...why be on the clock when I retire. I was starting to feel a bit tired, but the sun was still bright out. Man, I must have really worked hard today...then I noticed that through the window, it was full night, but the lights were on so it looked like daylight. For me, that was a good indicator that there is enough light coming from this.VALUE FOR THE MONEYI searched big-box stores and plenty on Amazon for lights. Grow lights are more expensive than conventional lighting and LED lights are more expensive than fluorescent lights. Also, this world has gone a bit crazy with higher costs, so any videos or articles that you might encounter that says a price, the price is likely higher now.But using simple math (with unrealistic numbers), showed me that I was money ahead with this configuration than trying to put something together on my own.AND, I personally really really hate the buzzing noise of fluorescent lights...it's like finger nails on a blackboard....So this was a really good deal. Then add in that all the mounting was provided in the packaging. Its a good deal.So the manufacture deserves a solid 5 stars.

Works extremely well for starting plants indoors
Bright, and they grow plants amazingly well. Pair with heat matts and you can have sprouts in 4 days instead of two weeks .

so far good
Easy enough to put together but there are sharp angles that you have to be cautious of when handling. I like that there were options for hanging. Have to wait and see if plants like the light ....

Works and works well.
These lights are great. They are bright and the seeds are sprouting within days. The shields that come with are a great light deflctor to the plants and not all over the room. I highly recommend them.

Great lights
Very bright, easy assembly. Only downside is kinda cheap material, but it makes sense at this price

Works well for germinating seeds.
I purchased two sets of these and use them to for all my spring starts (bok choy, spinach, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, flowers, and more). Have used them for two years now.I hang four of the lights spaced about 4 inches aparts and about 8 to 12 inches above the plants. Put it on a timer on for 14 hrs a day. Plants don't grow leggy. Great success! These are not super heavy duty like the expensive ones you can get from Johnny's Seeds. I wouldn't use these if i were running a farm. But, they are good for the hobby grower. The price and quality are both there so far.

Bright, lightweight grow lights
My tomato seedlings seem very happy with their new lights, so they must be good! I do wish the packaging came with even general ideas of how far from the plants they should be hung. I just guessed. But, they seem to be doing well so far. The lights are lightweight and warm to the touch, but not hot. I am glad they can be hung in series, so that I could use 1 plug for all 4 lights.
