This is the case to protect your ear buds no way to brake a plastic hinge because the top slips onto the ear bud case and it’s a very well made. Sure a bit more than others. But anything worth having always is.

**Update** 6 months later and I still love this case. It’s going strong and I don’t have to worry about my AirPods. I just have a sense of security knowing they are in this case. I still highly recommend this product.The biggest complaint and reasons for the one star reviews are that the top gets stuck. This is FALSE. These folks simply did not watch the product video on the same page they ordered the product from.They show you exactly how to take the top off the case. I have done it successfully and without issue 3 times in a row. I’ve even uploaded a video that shows how to do it.The top is very SNUG and there is a specific way you have to push it off in order for it to come off without damage to the case but it’s not hard.The case is sturdy BUT remember to push the case back down once you open it to retrieve or replace your AirPods. It does slide the case out of the bottom. If I had to guess this is what happened to another user who claimed they fell out while the bottom was still clipped to his belt. They slide up because of the hinge mechanism and the bulky was of the case. It takes less than a second to push them back down.

This case is stout! And the price is hard to beat. I use this case every day and am very satisfied. I only have two small complaints1. I wish there was either a latch or possibly a magnet to help keep the lid closed in addition to the magnetic retention of the air pods case. I feel like if its dropped the air pods case could still open and send your air pods flying (hasn't actually happened just a worry).2. makes it uncomfortable to carry in your pocket. Before I installed the case i always carried my air pods around in my pocket, Now I find myself leaving them at home or on my desk at work. makes them a little bulky to carry around all the time.That being said i wont be removing the case. as expensive as air pods are it gives me some peace of mind knowing I'm much less likely to drop them and damage the case or the air pods. I love the look of the case, Kinda reminds me of an old Jerry can (gas can). Oh and yes the case can be removed, you just need to follow the instructions. Ignore the reviews that say it wont come off.

I was misplacing my AirPods at least every couple of days and decided I needed to put them in a bright case in order to be easier to find. I researched for quite a while before deciding on this case. I love it!! It’s easy to put the AirPod case in, and also easy to remove the case if you need to hit the reset button on the back of the ‘pods. I love the carabiner, too— it’s good quality and is large enough that my fingers don’t fumble trying to attach or remove the case, yet very secure. The design is a little more masculine than I prefer, but the ‘girlie’ choices out there are just plain cheesy. I bought the bright blue SUPCASE and it’s actually quite pretty.

I really like this. It is not really that bulky. I really like the color and design, especially the fake carbon fiber look. I like how it can open up all the way .The only thing I am not a fan of is the top part is very hard to take off. I think it is because of a suction effect. Good thing I won't be needing to do that too much.I really like the look, feel, and protectiveness of this case, I would recommend buying this.

Got this last Christmas (2023) as a gift for someone who I knew was getting AirPods from someone else. She still uses this case on them today and has had absolutely no issues with this product!

I like the sturdy look of this case but was some what skeptical about it after reading the reviews but I ordered anyways because I know some are so picky they will complain about themself, this case comes well packaged with a carabiner, there is no charge port protection but due to the thickness of the case that should be no problem, it's two parts (top and Bottom ) you put the AirPods case into the bottom facing the front (hole to see led light) and the top on the AirPods top, Now the key to removing the case is as follows (so many seem to have a problem with this) hold the case in one hand and place a finger or two in the opening on the back and just like opening a soda can pull towards your palm of the hand pulling and it will come off, this is a great protective case made of thick plastic and should survive a drop and possibly someone stepping on it,I think it may be a bit overpriced and should be ten bucks .Peace

I picked this after doing some extensive research. This case was the best value for you buck and fits on beautifully. Some complained of it being too tight or unable to get off. I have tried to get off and it is a challenge. BUT I do not see a need to take it out of the case anyways. So the fit is very snug. The only reason I gave it less that five stars on durability is the part that the key ring attaches to is rubber not metal or plastic. BUT it is much more durable than any rubber I have used before. I just wanted something the key ring has the best chance to never fall off as this is the only weak spot in most of these airpods cases. I would 100% recommend and find it better than any others I have tried before. Worth it.
