It looks nice in the old antique bottle I bought it for. I also like the quality, as it is real cork.

I use it for sculpting miniatures. Great for when I'm sculpting something that requires a larger base. will probably order more in the future although the price with shipping $3+ $8 shipping makes it seem a bit impractical. But if I can't find these cheaper elsewhere I may not have a choice.

I spent a lot of time trying to get precise measurements of what I wanted to cork. Turns out I did not need to. The tapered design gives you a large margin for error. Plan to replace a wooden top where the rubber gasket is dry rot with another one of these.

Great for piggy banks

I needed the corks for a carafe and was unsure about sizing. I choose this brand because it had a sizing number that made it clear what I was ordering. Also the corks are firm, not crumbly.

Finally found a cork (just one didn’t have to buy a bag of other unwanted sizes) for an urn for a beloved dog.

This cork is not a solid piece of cork but composed of 3 layers glued together. Who knows what kind of glue they use?! I'm using this as a stopper for drinking water, so I worry about the potential for chemicals from the glue getting into the water. Fit-wise, this is not airtight; water still leaks out when I invert the container. I'm thinking a light coating of beeswax might take care of the problem.

used on a hot water thermo. fits. however, it turns to dark color after one week of use. guess it is not made for this use.
