Highly recommended item
I bought this a while ago (more than a year ago), and it still works very well and looks as good as when we first got it.

Better than expected.
Our old Bin reached its end of life, this bin was a lot cheaper than the old one but its actually a lot better, the lid opens and closes very quick, the lock to keep pets out is also very well thought out.

Seems quality
Like the plug In facility smart, quality product, takes 50 litre bags. Not sure the warranty is worth anything its American and it states valid USA.

Nice but doesn’t last
Bought this bin to keep my dog away from trying to get stuff out of bin. It worked brilliant, however after a year of use something in lid broke and stopped working. I looked on parts online but new parts are more expensive than actual bin. Shame it did not last as really liked it and for price I paid I expected better

Weak lid connection to gears-breaks after 6 months.
Great when it worked but lid stopped opening, changed the batteries but on closer inspection can see the way this connects to the gearing is totally inadequate, won't last persistent use and it didn't. Others I read had the same problem, in this case it broke before the 12 month purchase anniversary so I eventually negotiated a full refund without having to return to Amazon, supplier ignored all attempts at contact. It can still be used manually but needs redesign to improve the robustness, these should last for years without themselves ending up in landfill.

Fantastic
Really good requires 4 large round batteries or a DC input. Don't put it in an area you walk past frequently as it can scare the hell out of you when the lid opens as you walk past it lol

Only had it a couple of weeks buy can't fault it, so not sure of battery life, it's sad loving a bin, but I do

Broken lid
The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this bin less than 2 months. Batteries are new and it’s on. All of a sudden the lid broke. As seen in the video it falls down and doesn’t lightly close like it did before. The electric opening sensors now don’t work either. I loved this bin, the size of its great and the lock to stop the dog. Waiting for response from the seller
