Comfy & Cute
These sandals are so comfy! Very nice for days that your feet will be getting wet, as they dry out very quickly and have good grip on them. I have worn these for working at a greenhouse for years now, and I will never go with another sandal. I like that these don't have the toe strap on them - I previously had a pair of them that had them, and when they got dirty it was so difficult to move the toe strap and it basically just squeezed my toe funny all day. Would definitely recommend these!

Very durable and excellent quality.
Chacos have excellent quality. I love how the strap is so adjustable to customize the fit. This model is softer than the originals, but still stiff. There is a break in period. It’s like a good pair of boots, once they’re broken in they’re the best shoes! Great support and very durable. I also like Tevas but the don’t last as long as Chacos. I wear an 8-8.5. I bought 8 and they fit perfectly.

I love my Chaco shoes! These last a few years even when worn most of the time.

High quality, but not for me.
Softer footbed than others, but still not right for me.

You can hike all day in these sandals and they will last forever
I bought these to replace a pair of Chacos in the same style that were at least 11 years old, that i'd had resoled once before. The second sole was also worn out and the straps were fraying a bit so I figured it was time, I more than got my money's worth out of the original pair. You can actually hike rugged trails in these sandals, and they are the only sandal I've ever owned where I had no concerns putting them on in the morning expecting a full day on my feet. San Francisco bay area trails, muddy hikes in Hawaii, cobbled streets in Europe, all good. Also great for wearing into the ocean or a lake with a rocky beach. These fit true to size, I am usually a 9 and the 9 regular fits perfectly. I have narrow feet and there's definitely extra length in the webbing, the regular would fit a regular foot fine. If you think your feet are chubby or you ever buy a wide shoe you should probably go with the wide option.I prefer the double-narrow strap style to the single-wide strap style because it feels like it adjusts a bit more precisely around the toe area. I have never had any issues with the straps rubbing uncomfortably except if I wear them into salt water and don't do a great job of washing off the salt and sand afterwards.I really can't recommend these enough if you are going to do anything even vaguely active in a warm climate, even just walking 5 miles around the city. I expect this pair to last another 10 years, when you look at how much they cost it seems on the expensive side "for sandals" but the quality and value is top notch.

Great for flat feet!
I have had 4 pairs of Chacos in the last ten years. One pair has lasted since 2014, but I just got rid of them about a week ago due to wildlife stealing one of them off of my porch. 😂 I also am very active with them and I take them everywhere, so each pair gets put to the test!I wear size 11, have super flat/wide feet, and Chacos have always fit me well. They’re my go-to shoe in the summertime, and I’m excited for this new pair! They’re not as rigid as the “classic” style, so they were already super comfortable right away. I highly recommend these to anyone!!! I will always stand by this brand!

Extremely uncomfortable
I had tried them in a retail store and felt that the soles were quite comfortable and my feet and legs really felt well supported. But I did not walk in them!! Since the store did not have my size in the color I wanted, I ordered here on Amazon. I was so excited to finally own a pair of shoes I was going to be able to use for walking, yet shoes that had style and fun. I wore them for a half a day. I did not do any excessive walking at all!!! My feet are thin and I can easily put these shoes on (in other words it is not because my feet are too big) after wearing them for just a couple of hours, I started to feel that the lacing (esp that goes over from inside foot to the big toe) was starting to l rub and was causing my feet to swell and skin to break. I took them off thinking I give it a rest and try the next day. Next day the same thing occurred. On the third day after wearing them for a bit (hoping the shoes would finally “break” in) I noticed that my left foot was particularly painful at the same area. It is unfortunate as I love these shoes but I am not packing them for my trip coming up. They are simply too uncomfortable for a trekking trip.
