Looks well built, but will take a known Surge to know if it protects
Only ran into one problem when installing on CAT-5e indoor/outdoor rated cable. Grommet holes are to big to squeeze down to seal on cable. Grommet holes are meant for larger diameter direct burial CAT-# cable.You need a small hole Grommet to adapt up to Grommets of Surge Protector.
