Part exactly like original. Not installed yet but sure it will work as original.

There are no videos or instructions online to go by for replacing this part so you must “feel” your way and unit is poorly designed for servicing which makes things harder at least on the Escape I35 model I replaced it on.You must remove the entire insert unit from the firebox to access the lower left side access panel. Space is extremely tight to work in and you must work around wires and gas lines to get old part out and new part in (it’s slightly easier if you disconnect the gas valve mounts so it can be nudged around a little). I also removed the entire burner assembly from the stove to clean everything but you may be able to get away with leaving it intact. Not saying don’t attempt, jut be forewarned it’s not a simple plug and play job. One final thing that got me was my original pilot assembly that I pulled had a gas line that was 24 inches long while the replacement part was less than half this length. I thought I must have gotten the wrong part and that the new part would not be long enough to reach the gas valve but it did just make it. Finally the compression fitting is an odd size and neither a 7/16” nor a 1/2” box wrench would fit so I ended up buying a 4” adjustable wrench fro Home Depot to be able to tighten it.Conclusion: don’t attempt unless you’re at least moderately handy.Customer service from Clearview Fireplace was outstanding.
