The reason I bought these ones was because they said that you could put a bottle in the fridge sideways and it wouldn’t spill. They were right! It works well and very easy to use!

We are using these for glass bottle soda pop, which goes flat so quickly. These are really easy to put on, seal well, and the contents stay fizzy for about 24 -36 hours. They seal pretty well, but I would not recommend shaking the bottle, or laying it on its side- there is pressure in that carbonation, and only so much friction in the seal.

I thought these would be harder to get on and off. Nope, they go on easily. Perhaps too easily, really. I have used them on Mexican Coke bottles, Jarritos soda bottles, beer bottles, and wine bottles. All of these worked, I have had no liquid leaks even when I inverted the bottle. It is unlikely that I can get an accurate test of carbon dioxide leaks, but it seems very little, if any.However, I can imagine that an increasing level of carbon dioxide in the bottle might launch this cap straight off the bottle. Because of this, I would like this to be a few thousandths smaller in its inside diameter. I would like to feel like I was actually doing a tiny bit of work to seal the bottle!However, I do like these better than the cones I also purchased at the same time. The cones work, but they stick out of most bottles enough to be jostled loose accidentally. These would be nigh impossible to jostle off. Carrying a bottle just grasping this cover to hold the bottle might pull it off a full bottle but I can't get it to happen.Any way, I didn't know I needed these, but now I just throw the corks of wine bottles away when I open them. This is way better and easier.And they are going to last a long time, are hard to lose, and clean very easily.Oh, a drop of water run inside the cover just before using makes installing super easy, improves the seal, and improves removal. I guess it is a bit like using a suction cup hanger.

We just purchased a new refrigerator. The shelf above where we wanted to store open wine bottles was so close to the one below that opened wine bottles with corks sticking out would not stand up straight. Bottles would tip over and sometimes fall out when the fridge door was opened. The upper shelf is not adjustable. Using these caps instead of tall wine corks saved the day. Great quality. Reasonable price. Would buy again.

So I bought this out of a desperate need to stop disgusting houseflies from contaminating the mouth of our beer bottles. We were unsure it would fit beer bottles comfortably but made the leap anyway. We’re SOOOOOO GLAD we did! Although it is advertised for wine bottles (works as advertised for them too) it fits beer bottles like a glove. Although it is snug enough to where if the bottle falls over no fluid leaks out, it requires less energy to remove than it takes to remove the beer cap that came with the bottle itself. We bought the assorted colors and now everyone who chooses to use them knows exactly which drink is theirs if they step away from it momentarily. Long story short, this product was the perfect solution for our annoying pest problem. These caps are simple, look great, are sleek, and very functional with wine and beer bottles alike. We’ve already received much positive feedback from our friends and neighbors. Very inexpensive for the solutions and simplicity these bottle caps have to offer. Oh, I almost forgot. We’ve washed them in the diswasher on several occasions already, not a single problem!
