18 Silicone Reusable Caps for Home Brew & Soft Drink Bottles, Soda & Wine, Multi-color

These caps work really, really well when actually used for their original purpose. Specifically, to keep bottle contents fresh if the consumer can't use it all in one sitting. If you put these on a beer bottle with a screw cap, it is physically impossible to create a 100% water tight seal. Users should have a modicum of common sense to understand that threads create air gaps. Use these on a bottle that require an opener, they create a nearly airtight seal. There is no reason to ding the product because the user doesn't get the concept.

Works perfectly for water dishes for my tarantula slings that are about 1” in size. Affordable, cute and works for my use.

UPDATE 2 20 24: I'm done with these. The hack seemed to work for a while but the fix is not good enough. They still pop off if you don't remove the lid periodically to release the pressure. I recommend a different type. The material though comes back together that you can't see the hole. I've had no further issues with tops popping off, and still no leaks. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I just use mine to cover my beer sitting in the bar, outdoors or in the car (I don't drive, I'm a passenger). The carbonation in a drink will cause the lid to pop off, as do frozen drinks (I opened a beer at home one day and it froze before my eyes. I covered it with this and the lid popped off, so I recovered it with its original cap until it melted enough to drink). My solution, was to relieve the pressure by poking as many holes as possible in the lid with a push pin. I sterilized a push pin, put the silicone lid on the bottle and poked away. When you're done, you won't see any holes so it will still keep critters out but so far, the lids haven't been popping off. I haven't tested its leakproof ability. It doesn't fit my Modelo bottles very snug, so I'm sure it will spill but definitely not as much most likely, Overall, I'm pleased with this product once I applied my simple hack. Perhaps the manufacturer will consider a version with vent holes. I will buy these again as needed, and just poke my own holes in the lids. 7/3/23 UPDATE: I turned my beer upside down with the lid on and push pin holes poked in the lid. NO LEAKS, NOT A DROP. Definitely a winner and a keeper. The hack is working, no lids popped off yesterday in true life bar situation. Wonderful.

These are fantastic. I purchased sparkling mineral water in glass bottles - after drinking I washed bottles in dishwasher (removing all the bottle labels) and then filled with tap water. I used these silicone caps - and placed in fridge. I now have cold water in glass bottles to drink! AMA it! Caps STAY ON - even when I shake up bottle! Love them!!!

We like them and think they work for us! Sometimes the kids don't finish a drink and these are great for saving them for later.

Great idea but doesn't stay on. The carbonation makes it pop right off which defeats the purpose. Cute colors though and would work great on unfizzy soda.

Fits glass beer bottles perfectly. Great value for cost. Easily washed, easy to use, no leakage when applied properly when bottle tipped on its side. Fits snuggly, good quality and function.

I am a single woman, and instead of buying those branded bottle covers to use at bars, I just bought these. Protects me and fits perfectly in my pockets or in my purse for a night out without worrying if someone is going to slip something in my bottle of beer or whatever. Plus, it'll keep the bugs out on a camping trip. 5 stars!
