The locking mechanism is adjustable to the thickness of the desk. Everything is adjustable and the build quality is perfect. This is exactly what I wanted so I can put it where I want it to game and then claim it off to the side the other 90% of the time

PROS:-Great quality materials and craftsmanship-Plenty of ways to adjust to fit your desk layout-Fairly easy to assemble-Mounts are very good and stable-Packaged with care and cushioned boxCONS-Materials out of the box still had a lot of machine oil that was difficult to clean off. Oily residue was then inadvertently transferred to the joysticks, and desktop where the mount attached.-No clear instructions or example for how to attach or align the joysticks. I understand this is a case by case setup but a generic example in the assembly instructions would have been helpful.-Leftover plastic parts and screws included with no information or explanation other than to assume they are for permanently mounting the HOTAS to the platform.Overall, I would highly recommend these for anyone interested in this type of HOTAS/joystick setup. Just make sure you have a towel handy and clean them before trying out for the first time.

Owned product for 3 months and have used it a lot. I have two joysticks: Saitek X52 Pro HOTAS and a Thrustmaster T.16000M HOTAS FCS. Both are compatible with these mounts and provide excellent stability on my glass desk. The construction is made fully of aluminum with steel bolts, very rigid and nice to use! The mounting bracket allows for some customization as to the orientation of the joystick and throttle. Each mount has a handle to easily attach and remove from the desk.One thing to note is that the joystick and throttle will be further away from the desk, so be aware of this and make sure you have enough room around your desk. The top mounting plate which makes contact with the desk is approximately 2.25 inches tall x 3 inches wide; it has a rubber finish to prevent slipping. I had to take off the arm rests from my chair so I wouldn't bump into my joystick/throttle.I've been looking a long time for a product like this, and I am glad to have found it!

I rolled the dice on these and it paid off. Contrary to what the seller says, my VKB Gladiators fit just fine on these. The only thing that makes them "incompatible" is the fact that, for whatever reason, they don't include a set of shorter screws to mount them, just long ones. All that is needed is to either cut down the provided screws (what I did), or go out and buy some.As for quality, these things are solid. I also love that not only the height and extension are adjustable, but also the angle. This is good for me cuz my desk is oddly shaped.Worth a buy! Only loses a star for silly decision not to simply include another set of screws for VKB bases.

This desk mount is exactly as described. Extremely sturdy material and fairly simple assembly make this an amazing product. What I would like to see it an easier to way to adjust the height on the fly. Other than that I have no criticisms for this product at all.

Good quality materials. The aluminum extrusions are nicely anodized and finished, and the fasteners secure everything together nicely so that it’s very solid. The clamps are adjustable for different desk top thicknesses, and have a rubber pad on both the top plate and the clamps themselves to prevent marring.The plates that hold the HOTAS are designed to provide a lot of flexibility for both height and distance which makes getting a comfortable position very easy.Overall, I really like this setup. It saves desk space and puts the HOTAS exactly where you need it. The only caution is that the bracket creates a pretty large moment arm on the desk and may cause the desk top to flex. This isn’t unique to this product, though, and pretty much any bracket will do this. If your desk top is made of particle board or MDF, you may want to reinforce it a little.

I was impressed with the quality of everything, these are well made, sturdy, and had all the hardware to securely mount my X52 throttle and stick. I just got them today and they went together great. They seem to be very adjustable for different heights, table thickness, etc. They aren't cheap, but they are a specialty item and the workmanship matches the price.My favorite feature is the lever that lets you quickly attach or remove them.

I've now used these for ~3 years and am still very happy with them. They do offset your sticks forward of the desk so you need to scoot your seat back about 20cm but that gives me a better immersive feel anyway as I'm piloting my star ship around pirating, er, I mean trading goods.ONLY complaint: The adjustable height rails extend about 30cm below the desk surface, which is fine until you're in a swivel chair and cut the nice sturdy, unyielding, metal corner into the tender flesh of your quadriceps. They need like a soft bumper there or something. Maybe it's just me. I dunno.
