Cool
I rarely write positive reviews but felt like I had to in this case. First off, ignore the completely unhinged negative reviews about people complaining about this thing because they can't fit their city brick sized block of soap in here. News flash, you can cut off a chunk for travel -which is what I did. I was able to fit body wash, shampoo, and conditioner all in the same case by cutting them into thirds. No leaks, no problems. More importantly, no leaky liquid shampoo bottles exploding over everything. But best of all, is the lifetime support they offer -for a freaking soap container of all things. This last tidbit is what made me pull the trigger on this compared to other offerings from different companies. So even if you do have something break you can just get it replaced. A sorta buy it for life soap case. Only way they could make this better is if it were made in USA and not china like another review pointed out.

It just works
This works. It's just a soap dish so don't expect it to do magic things. I wanted a dish that can use to travel with a bar of soap that would not leak. I found this and thought I'd give it a try because it also allowed the soap to dry out. The previous dish I had sealed up just fine and I could have a super wet bar of soap that did not leak. However, it was mush when I tried to use it. Other dishes allow the soap to dry but you have to make sure it's not wet or else your entire toilet kit is a mess.Overall, this thing just works. Take a shower, put the soap int eh dish, and it keeps the soap from leaking over your stuff and allows it to dry. Now... as some people have said, you can't put the soap in the dish with a bunch of water and expect it do not leak...too much water and its going to find a way out. However, if you put the soap in the dish after you take a shower and minimize the amount of water gets in, you should be fine. Just takes a bit of finesse but not a big deal at all.I also like the fact that the company will send you replacement parts for life and its a small family company so its nice to support a guy that had an idea and made it into a reality.

Ruggedness and functionality are high...
These are, absolutely, the best travel soap dishes I've ever had... or used. Functionality is off the charts, and soap dishes take on greater importance due to the 3 oz liquid restrictions on U.S. flights. Soap bars are getting a second look, with me, anyway.

Good for what it is but don't drop it and don't rely on it staying closed
The initial impression was "Oh, this is a little different" The clasp to close the case was unique and I thought it would stay closed due to its design. But everytime I would take it to the shower the clasp was already open. The good thing is that the case actually stays closed pretty well on its own. The drying vents seem to work too as my soap never got mildewy and there wasn't a ton of water still in the case the next day. The case does separate if dropped which despite the lanyard I tend to do often. Fortuntely, the designers seem to have planned for this and nothing broke, just popped right back on. The lanyard makes this great for travel and for hooking onto the door of the gym shower or any surface that you could hook onto due to its length. I do fear over time, that it will eventually snap as it seems to be made of a very thin silicone. I'll try a nylon strap if that does happen. Overall, I liked it.

Let's soap dry between uses
Best soap dish ever...Soap is dry and not mushy evertime I use it..I am a truck driver so this is an issue with soap dishes that seal up....

Keeps bars of soap dry and clean
I lost our previous soap case and spent some time on Amazon picking a new one, because what is more fun than reading millions of Amazon reviews for a soap dish? Not cleaning the house, that's for sure. This case really does keep your bar of soap drier than a basic case. I like it enough to order another one for my shampoo and conditioner bars. The venting structures do make this case slightly bigger. When we go on camping and road trips, I keep this case with a bar of soap in it along with a jug of water (with spout) and a turkish towel on the floor behind my driver seat. That is our handwashing station and it comes in immensely handy on road trips, especially when you're going to the bathroom in places that don't have running water. I hate sanitizer. I want clean hands, not dirty hands that also smell weird.Last tip: if you're going to go to the bathroom somewhere that might require this handwashing station -- and that somewhere is outside -- do not leave your toilet paper on the ground. Don't even try to bury your toilet paper. Put it in a ziploc bag or something designated for used toilet paper and throw it away when you get to a garbage can. My kids and I have seen enough toilet paper and human poop (dig a hole and poop in it or also carry it out like you would dog poop) marring would-be beautiful places to last a lifetime. Mostly on the west coast. Pooping and peeing is essential, but let's not cover the planet with it. Carry a trowel with you and carry out your TP.

I Love This
I have been looking for a good travel soap dish to prevent water from entering my toiletry bag/suitcase. The air vents do a great job of preventing water from escaping while providing an excellent outlet for the water to evaporate. I packed this wet multiple times, and the dish was dry once I was at my destination. The one design flaw is that the exterior becomes very slick, so placing it on a slopped tub/shower ledge will very easily slide off. I wish it had some rubber on the outside to help keep it in place.

Love this case
This case is perfect. I use my own soap on vacation so I keep it in my toiletries bag ready for travel. I use it, hang it and then have a dry case to pack. Great for traveling, well worth the purchase, size is perfect for a stand bar of soap. This was a great purchase and I would purchase it again if I needed another one and it would be a good gift.
