Redken Color Extend Brownlights | Blue Conditioner | For Natural & Color-Treated Brunettes

I professionally got my hair lowlighted with copper and brown. I came out the salon and the copper was bright orange. You could see me from a mile off! I spent the next two days trying EVERYTHING to either tone down or ideally get rid of the orange. I used baking soda, vinegar and multiple shampoo rinses and nothing worked. After googling for hours looking for a solution I found this. As a last resort, I thought why not. At this point, I was ready to just go to the supermarket and grab any box-dye.I left the blue conditioner on for half an hour and then rinsed. The bright orange had severely toned down but personally wasn't enough for what I wanted. The next day, I decided to repeat the process and left the blue conditioner on for an hour. I was left with a very light brown shade that easily blended with the rest of my hair, I am naturally a mousey brown.My hair lasted approx two - three weeks before it looked a little brassy and I would have to use the blue conditioner again.

Was hesitant - used products previously that destroyed my colour. This was a surprise and did exactly what it says.

Nice conditioner hair looks great

Good product. Really helped my ashy blonde highlights when they started to go golden. The consistency of this conditioner is really thick, and dark blue in colour, so wearing gloves is a must. You don't need a lot to get a good coverage (my hair is chin length). It washed out easily. It doesn't dry out my hair like other brands have done in the past. It does take a few washes to notice it working.
