Easy install, fit perfectly
For the price and what it is supposed to do, good bargain. I had to look up the installation instructions online for the particular modem, but once I located those, easy. Per the literature, it will take 5 days for the battery to fully assume back-up power. Upon initial install, it has to cycle several time. What I don't know and probably will eventually find out is if the advertized back-up time is just from the time the power goes out, or does it refer to "talk time" while on the battery ? Like it says "8 hours". I can talk for 8 hours or even without talking, the battery will deplete after 8 hours ? Either way, fine with me. Would just use it for a couple of initial short calls.

I got this for my elderly mothers cable modem, so that her phone will continue to work if she loses power.

Excellent service way ahead of schedule.
I needed a battery for an older Wi-Fi router. I got exactly what I needed, and it was delivered 2 days before the promised date. Exceptional service. The battery is performing flawlessly.

This battery is for phone backup only and not the Internet.
This battery is for the phone line backup only in the event of a power outage. It will not power the internet on the Cisco DPC3941T model commonly used by Comcast Xfinity. For continuing internet service, you will need a APC Backup battery which can also backup computer and monitor during power outage. I was not aware of this as the product description was not specifically clear about this. Yes, phone service is essential during power outage, but nowadays with cellphone, cable phone is not as important. Internet is a must and this battery will not work.I only found about this after reading a note inside the package delivered, stating "Back Batteries only support the PHONE PART of the modem." This was never clear on the Amazon website's product description before I purchased this product. Buyer Beware!
